This works great for GoPro's!
I recently purchased a YoloTek GoPro Powerstick. That unit is supposed to come with a very small amount of their silicone rainproof putty to wrap around the wire connection on your GoPro in order to keep rain/water out. Unfortunately, they seem to be having some issues; as seen by many reviews, a lot of their Powerstick packaging doesn't in fact come with the rainproof putty like it advertises (which I believe has been proven to have been an honest mistake on their part, which they do attempt to make right with their customers once it's brought to their attention). And buying it separately is just ridiculous due to its high pricing (~$30.00 per box, last time I looked). This E/Fusing 900 here works phenomenally as a replacement. It doesn't dry up (even on a hot, Florida summer afternoon) and its consistency remains the same. It's very easy to work with and creating a functional seal around your GoPro wire connection(s) takes little effort. And, one of the best things? You get a significant amount of this stuff; more than I'll ever need for my multiple GoPro's (the photo of the roll in my hand is what was left after I used it to generously seal up one GoPro in two spots on the Powerstick). All at a price that equates to half of what YoloTek charges for a box of their rainproof putty (which they only supply a small amount compared to how much of this E/Fusing 900 that you get). This stuff has many different uses, but it has just knocked it out of the park for my purpose. The only cons that I've encountered so far:1. If you're not familiar with how to successfully waterproof an electronic device (as opposed to making it water resistant), you can kill a GoPro or another device. Of course, this is entirely based upon the user and the E/Fusing 900 is not at fault for it. I just believe that it can give a sense of false security to those that look at it incorrectly. A great example to give you here is with my GoPro that you see in the photo that I uploaded. It's a GoPro 8 with a new battery door on it that allows for the USB power cord to be plugged in. This new battery door is not waterproof. Some are, and some aren't; mine isn't. Some users have killed their GoPro's by thinking that they've waterproofed the unit by applying the E/Fusing 900 (or in their case, the Yolotek silicone putty or something similar) like I have, which is not the case. It is simply water resistant. If submerged, water will enter the cracks of the battery door and kill the GoPro. Again, this ultimately is user error, but worth bringing to your attention if you're wanting to use it for the same purposes as I have.2. After handling the YoloTek silicone putty that one of my friend's bought, it is easier to work with, but not by much.3. The color might not be appealing to some people. This is where the clear YoloTek silicone putty can outshine the E/Fusing 900. I don't mind at all, personally. Especially since options appear to be so limited.Good luck with your projects, everybody!

Works awesome
The 900 Moldable Silicone Putty - Black worked perfectly for covering the ports on my camera while snowboarding. It molded easily to fit snugly over the ports, creating a solid, waterproof seal that kept out snow and moisture. Even with the rough conditions and constant movement, the putty stayed in place and was easy to remove when needed. It’s a simple yet effective solution for protecting electronics in harsh environments. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to safeguard their gear while enjoying winter sports! Plus you get enough to redo the fitting 20 times.

Good product not easy to mold
Bought this to help me seal a pipe in a pipe sleeve. The product is quite good, silicone putty should last for a lifetime and continue to be pliable. An appreciable amount in the package, packed as a roll with release liner, about 1/8 to 1/4" thick. You need to kneed the silicone so it becomes pliable and able to be pushed and molded. I had a difficult time, had to work it for quite a bit of time to get it to be moldable and pliable. The good thing about this silicone is that you can put it down and come back to it later and it won't change its state. The warmth of my hands seemed to help it become a bit more pliable, I was outside and it was about 30 Deg F. when I was trying to apply this.

Better than butyl
I initially bought this to seal the trim in my shower, and I found this incredibly easy to use. I like that it seals with silicone, but does not dry out and is not particularly tacky.I have a few spots in my 29-year-old travel trailer where this stuff will be optimal. I need something that is moldable and will fill gaps without drying out, but I don't particularly want the places in question to become sticky. I wish I knew about this stuff when I replaced the sink in the trailer's bathroom. I used butyl to seal around the edge and it is continued to be a sticky mess several years later. I'm not sure how much of this product I will need to do these jobs, while it does seem like a lot of money for the amount of product that I received it is on par with other weather proofing products I have used in my trailer.

Amazing product!
I usually don’t write reviews but felt compelled to let others know about this amazing product! I haven’t seen or used anything comparable to it and is non-sticky/molds easily to any shape you want! I took a chance this may work to fill in a gap (aluminum fence end) and didn’t want anything that would be permanent or difficult to get out. This was easy to apply/cut and still have plenty left over for other future projects. You will not be disappointed in this and foresee this item being picked up by major box stores in the future for their inventory, well done!!

Hard to mold, expensive
I purchased it to fix a slow leak under the kitchen farm sink drain, because the drain i have is not leak proof and the plumber's putty I tried earlier did not seal it properly. The spot under the sink drain is difficult to access due to limited cut-out space from the cabinet below. I could not get the strip to mold well, it was too rigid.I ended up using a fire putty pad instead. The fire putty worked. I will keep this silicone putty for future use, it may work better in situations where the leak is easier to access, so one can push it in place with greater ease.
