The Cascade PF-1 is a professional pop-eliminator for vocal applications. The design utilizes a metal screen that eliminates pops more effectively than fabric type designs. The Cascade PF-1 also eliminates high frequency losses that occur with fabric pop filters. It can be cleaned with soap and water between uses to promote a high level of sanitation. PF stands for Perfect Filter
So this is definitely a 5 stars pop filter that works flawlessy, is sturdy as #### and has the perfect look for OCD people;I'm giving 5 stars to the filterBUTOnly 4 stars to the packaging: paradoxically, the metal screen has a weakness, and mine arrived a little bit bent (due to the unappropriate packaging). It's not perfectly flat, and one can easily adjust it, but a little bit more and it could have been damaged permanently; This said, don't be afraid to buy this splendid pop filter, and don't look back;I'll carry it with me for a long, long time.

Solid design and strong arm/mount
Purchased this pop filter to mount on a Rode PSA1 in combination with an Audio-Technica AT2035. Very robust construction of filter and arm, with a generously sized clamping mount. The articulating arm stays exactly where it's positioned. Unlike some other metal pop filters, there aren't razor sharp edges - the material is nicely coated.

Not beautiful, but not ugly either next to my vintage U87. Works very well for the price (so far)!

Simply: It's a pop filter, it's sturdy, looks good, stays in place and it WORKS. What more do ya want?? Got one for my Cascade ribbon mic. A good investment.
