Having never owned a Rat Terrier, this book taught us how to train our new puppy.

I have two Rat Terriers. Both are dynamic little bundles of energy. They are absolutely charming. Tremendously affectionate. And make wonderful companions. Plus, by nature, they are good watch-dogs and great at chasing off pests. My oldest Terrier has even killed mice and rats that were found at our family's farm (He will bring them and drop them in front of us, as if to say, "Are you keeping count? Well, here is another one!"}. Yet, for all that I have learned from experience about these energetic and intelligent dogs, this book provided so much more to know and learn. I enjoyed reading it. I learned from it. I applied what I had read to my own dogs, and the lessons taught really did work.

Nice...all we wanted to know about owning a Rat Terrier puppy!

I just rescued a new dog and she is a Rat Terrier, 6 years old, I don't know her history but I think she is pure blood. The best dog I've ever had.

If you have NEVER owned a pet or a dog especially I would recommend it but it is so basic that for me it provided little more than a few nice pictures of Rat Terriers.

This is a good starter book but would have preferred to have more details.

Very nice format. Easy to find things and goes into just enough detail. My daughter and I loved it. Just what she was wanting.

I would recommend this book as a table book for all rattie lovers. It makes a great table book and the cover is priceless.
