Great job, but.....
Fantastic little aquarium! We needed to get a larger container for my son's Betta and this works great!! The light is nice to have... She especially likes it when we feed her, sort of like a trigger to know it is coming. I have one complaint, however, the pump has started to not work. It comes on, then doesn't.... Can't tell if it is a short or what. Will be contacting the vendor to see about replacing the pump unit. Overall, great little addition for us. Pump or not, since it isn't critical. 9/1/19 - I raised the number of stars to 5 based on the seller's response to my problems!!!

Very compact all in one fish tank with good build and perfect size for shrimps or a single crayfish
I have own fish tank from 64 gallons to literally a quarter gallon plastic tank. This is not cheap for its size in my honest opinion but it has got everything you need for a tank and it is very well-thought out build and compact so I assume it is worth the price. All you have to do is add water and bacteria in the tank and let it run on its own for a couple of weeks before you add any inhabitant into the tank.Is it perfect for a single betta? I would say yes because betta do not like to swim in big tanks. I had put a betta in a 20 gallon or even 10 gallon tank before and all it does is hover closer to the top on a corner because betta, as a gourami family, are surface breather and they need to constantly swim up to breath, hence the air bubbles it blow around it's nesting area. So yes, contrary to all the cry babies about betta cruelty, this is a perfect tank for betta. The filtration system part of this tank, which literally takes up a quarter of the entire tank volume, is more than enough to filter out the impurities from the water and let you relax and enjoy the tank without the need for weekly water change, provided you only place a single betta fish in there. If you use this tank to house micro shrimps, you don't need to change any water at all, just need to top up evaporated water from the tank occassionally. One caution though, the light tends to get hot and it also raise the temperature of the water, which is a major plus in cold weather seasons. In hot summer, I would turn the lights off in hot summer nights or during the hot days. I highly recommend this little compact tank. Since this is an acrylic tank, please do not use any rough scrub material to clean the surface of the tank, inside or outside. It will scratch the hell out of this beautiful tank. Use a soft cloth or an acrylic scrubber that you can buy for cheap from petco. The scrubber usually come in white color. The blue scrubbers are for glass surface only and will definitely scratch the hell out of this tank. Enjoy.

Disappointed
We were every excited about this aquarium for our new betta. Per the description it appeared to have everything we were looking for. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The most frustrating thing for us is that this tank is not at all suitable for a betta (as described). Within 2 days we realized that this tank would only continue to be a problem and that our betta would most likely not be able to live very long in this home. We immediately worked on processing and return and finding a suitable replacement for this aquarium. Many of the features were not as described:- The latching system for the top of the lid on the aquarium would not stay on and continued to cause a problem every time we opened the tank to feed our betta- When attempting to feed our betta through the "feeding holes" on the top of the lid the filter sucked up the food before our betta could get anything- Both the lower and top filter pulled our betta towards them with too much suction (causing his fins to get stuck). We ended up having to shut of the filer until we could arrange the tank high enough to fully cover the lower filter (leaving even less room for the betta to move around the tank)- Top Filter: we ended up having to keep the water below the top filter so the betta would not get its fins and tail pulled in- the export for the water of the filter is too much- making it so the betta would not swim of the opposite side of the intake- the plants would not stay in the gravel and floated to the top- the tank became very hazy after only 2 days due to inadequate filtration system- If you end up with a betta that can jump or bump the lid they could easily get out of this tank- there is such a small space for the betta to swim around due to having to put the gravel higher above the filtration (less then 1.4 gallons)- this tank would need to be cleaned at least weekly even with a filter- They do not provide a charger (there are cords that plug in as a phone charger would- cord only)On the plus side if you are looking to house something different this tank may be a good fit (e.g. possibly small shrimp or a snail may be appropriate)Another great thing is that the light plugs in- this makes it so you do not have to replace batteries on the light often. Many tank lights similar to this setup have the lighting system set up as battery operated.

Cute
It was cute but the pump is strong and sucked up the Molly's. The Coi was fine but we had to get a bigger tank. Over all, my fault for getting to small a tank.

Loved it until filter stopped working!
After just a few months with regular cleaning and beta fish loved atmosphere, filter stopped working! Now what? Whole new tank?

Great!!
Used this for a year while I was at college and it was great. Quiet filter. Never used the light on it so I’m not sure what people mean by it electrocuting their fish. Perfect size for one beta fish or one gold fish. Really easy to assemble. And the price is reasonable. I did replace the sand it came with and put aquarium rocks instead because it was easier for me to clean.

Don’t recommend
The tank itself is decent, the light provided is bright the pump is quiet, the pump isn’t very good considering tho. It killed my sons beta fish and she was fine until she was transferred into the tank. It was easy to put together but the clips for the lid were broke when I received it. The lid also just sits on top no secure what’s so ever unfortunately.
