Rides 10x better than the new shocks i just had in there.
Good as far as adjustable shocks go. I have procomp mx-6 6006's in the front for a 4 inch lifted f150 and ranchos 4inch lifted rs9000xl's in the back fer what ever reason rancho doesnt offer front shocks for my application. The ranchos have a more positive detent for the settings (and 9 vs 6 settings of the procomp). The knob for the procomps is vague and i would probly adjust past the setting you want then turn back to it. The nod goes to procomps for fit and finish with nicer welds and sturdier construction, beefier top post and larger caps and locknut. Both shocks are the correct lengths. Every shock i bought from local auto part stores was wrong length (even for stock applications wihich kinda blew my mind). The procomps physically had the same size bottem eyelet as what was in there but i had to grind down the anticrush sleeve to get bottem of shocks into their pockets. Dont know if the bolt had been over tightened causing the ears to pinch (its a cast control arm I dont see how).Having bought napa, oriellys , and autozone shocks , and finally throwing them away (like new shocks mind you), i can honestly say the Adjustable shocks is the way to go. Adjustable shocks are double the price of regular shocks but fine tuning the ride is worth it. Stock shocks must be valved for an unloaded truck, as any weight in the bed or larger tires made both my trucks ride like crap.. Ranchos smoothed out the rear end stutter and procomp mx-6's made botteming out over speed bumps at 2mph a thing of the past. If you have offroad tires, a lift, or even just carry a load in the bed do yourself a favor and upgrade next time you need shocks!
