Safe, cheap, well built and effective!
Recently we found ourselves in a predicament. We have a cabin in the middle of a small mountain town. Frequently we cut trees to keep fire lines. Our chainsaw blade was quite dull as a recent flood had made it work overtime! We were surprised to find our local hardware store was out of sharpness. This sharpener was cheaply priced and we decided what the heck. It arrived quickly, and was very nice. The material it was built with much stronger than the normal plastic material. The sharpener itself worked great. The saftery is provided while using the tool excellent. This tool is effective and useful as well in expensive. I would highly recommend this tool!

Garbage.
Broke the first time it was used. Threw it out. Don’t waste your money.

HAS TO HAVE 2 HOLES
IT SAYS IT WILL WORK WITH 1 OR 2 HOLES ON THE BAR BUT GOOD LUCK TRYING TO HOLD IT IN PLACE WITH JUST 1 HOLE YOU COULD TAKE YOUR BAR OFF AND DRILL A 2ND HOLE I SUPPOSE BUT DON'T KNOW IF THE BAR WOULD BE SAFE REMEMBER THAT'S A VERY SHARP CHAIN RUNNING AROUND THAT BAR I LIKE MY LEG'S TO MUCH TO FIND OUT. AND NOT WORTH THE HASSLE TO SEND BACK I TORE IT A PART AND THROUGH IT AWAY SO NO BODY CAN GET HURT WITH IT

Broke first time I used it. No instructions came with it. Junk

This product did not come with any instructions to speak of- when I figured it out and tried it, it immediately broke.

Not happy
It did not sharpen the chain. Fallowing the instructions wetting the stone. Had to buy a new chain because of a broken tooth. The saw was brand new we had it for two days.
