Happy Stacker Ring Toy Sewing Pattern

Having purchased this to make for my 9 month old daughter, I am still working on this project 2 months later. I love the results so far; I've made several of the rings. It is fun to embellish them with ribbon, and make them more engaging for my daughter. However, this project is a combination of machine and hand sewing, and my hand sewing just turns out a little sloppy (yes, some may say that is my fault for the end product, but I purchased this thinking it was all machine sewn). You have to hand sew the center hole. And as for construction, it's nearly like origami when achieving the final doughnut shape as per the directions. After doing the first two, you get the hang of it. I would suggest making these assembly line style, making each of the doughnuts together, doing step 1 for each of the doughnuts, before moving on to step 2, etc.

Fun to make with a lot of patience.
