I bought this cart back in April and it came with a battery that didn't work. I expected to deal with the Amazon seller to resolve this issue, but was sent to a different company even though this is Medical Department Store's product. I recommend everyone to purchase this from a direct retailer because it will save you the headache in the future when something goes wrong. I am on my third battery replacement from the very generous retailer that I was sent too, but was told today that any other issue has to dealt with by Medical Department Store. I thought they were affiliated the entire duration of this problem, but I was informed today and wanted to let other customers know before purchasing. The product itself is great when it actually runs, but I have experienced battery problems since day 1 and it's a truly frustrating experience. Product quick overview from the brief working moments: - The cart itself is rather fast, and I would recommend looking into the lithium battery since the current one is rather heavy. - Folds up quickly - Key to start - Display showing battery life - Convenient basket included. - Runs well on carpet I have only used this indoors and have brought it on bus transits. I can't say for how well it does in other weather conditions.

Love, love, love it. Perfect for getting around my house and walking my dogs. The battery is the heaviest part, but I LOVE HOW EASY THIS SCOOTER IS TO SET UP. ITS ALSO the perfect suitcase size to store in my closet.

Do not buy this item from Top Mobility. If it doesn’t work out, they charge a 20% restocking fee. 1. The pieces are not lightweight at all. The lightest piece is at least 40lbs if not more. 2. I couldn’t fold it to fit into a suitcase. I don’t know where that lie originated, but it’s untrue. Unless it’s a really, really big suitcase. 3. It looks like it could be a nice scooter but it is for people who can help them carry it.

Great scooter that works most times.

I purchased this two years ago. In the beginning, I had problems with the battery. It didn't like the battery even when I let it charge overnight. We were sent new batteries - after much debate between the number Amazon gave me to call and the people at that number. Now I'm having issues with the throttle. This scooter is convenient and folds up easily. It is compact and works great for traveling but at this point it is hit or miss whether it works. I tried calling the number listed again. I need a scooter to get to work - this isn't an item I use for fun. It's a big purchase and I feel like the hassle hasn't been worth it. Previously I had a used one and it ran for 7 or 8 years. Because of the good performance of the original, I purchased this one. What a mistake! Without a mobility device, I can't get into work. The lack of response from the company and the poor quality of the scooter are disappointing.

I'm disabled and have a motorized wheelchair, which is not convenient when I travel or ride with someone else. I love this scooter because it's easy to take apart and put back together, and it's very lightweight.
