Yurbuds Inspire Pro Purple

Love, love, love these headphones. I have tried a whole heap of headphones, in various brands and price ranges, and have never found a pair that I like better than these. I have small ears, and always found that traditional earbuds were uncomfortable. These are incredibly comfortable, and come with two sizes of rubber "gloves" for the buds. The sound quality is awesome, both for playback and via the microphone. The optional little clip that comes with it is one of the handiest things ever -- clip it to my shirt (or my work badge) and not have to worry about jostling the headphones out of my ears. They really do stay in amazingly well, and you will forget that you have them on.Keep in mind, though, that they are athletic headphones and so designed not to mask background noise. (Think of it as runner safety -- even with the volume up high, you could hear a car horn.) Personally, that is a major selling point to me -- I do not like the isolation that comes of wearing headphones that block out the rest of the world. However, if you are looking for a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, these probably aren't for you.EDIT 8/2/16: I replaced my worn out set of Yurbuds with a newer model, and I'm happy with them - but not as happy as I expected. There are two significant changes. The clip which was present in older models is not included with these. I get around that by using a small binder clip just below the microphone to secure the headphones to my blouse. The second is the addition of magnets in the back of each earbud, so that they 'snap' together (or onto anything metal) in an attempt to prevent tangling. I haven't seen them prevent much tangling, but it does mean that I can let the magnet on one headphone attach to the binder clip I've jury rigged and know I'm not going to pull it out. The magnets are a good improvement; the lack of clip is not. If you already loved these headphones for the fit of them, the newer model is A-OK.

I love the fit of the earbuds. They are the only buds I've found that actually stay in my ears and are actually comfortable to wear. The sound quality is good. I am not a music aficionados so my standards aren't super high on this point. I've found them to work well with music and audiobooks. They are not noise canceling, so they are suitable for use in environments where it is necessary to hear outside sounds. The outside sounds however are muted enough that they don't interfere with your listening pleasure. The central locations of the controls is perfect. The y shaped controls fall to the sternum and are accessible by either hand and can be seen when the buds are in your ears. The downfall of these earbuds is, as other reviewers stated, is that the durability is lacking. I use mine for listening at the office. I am generally not running around with them. I just purchased my 3rd pair as one of the speakers eventually dies. The cord connections to the plug weaken, if you give it a wiggle sound will jump in and out of the speaker. I got 1 year out of the first set, and 6 months out of the second. I can't say this issue is limited to Yerbuds or this model. This issue has plagued wired headphones since the beginning of time. The only brand I haven't ever had this happen to is Apple, but they never stay in my ears. I would recommend them, but caution that you be prepared to buy a few sets a year.

Gotta say, this earbuds do not stay in, even with a light jog on a tread mill they fall out. I used them for free weighting which is perfect even when lying down or upside down. Sweat resistant? Nope that's a lie, slippery than a codfish on cold rainy day. Made my purchase at Tue, Dec 16, 2014 at 7:59 PM. Returns, well that never happened when audio output went kaput on one of the buds, Made 2 attempts to contact customer service via email. First attempt was made at Sun, May 10, 2015 at 5:17 PM with no replies, automated but no actual reply. Second attempt at Thu, May 14, 2015 at 1:23 AM with no reply. And finally a phone call on that same day withing hours of operation, which BTW they are outsourcing so expect an accent, When I gave a detailed description of my problem over the phone, I was emailed by the outsource-r to explain my issue and provide credentials, serial number, date of purchase, order number, etc.. in order to be sent and RMA. After replying I have not heard back from them since I have not received and RMA or status of what is going on. This happened at Thu, May 14, 2015 at 4:38 PM. So I give them 3 stars because they provide 3 size earbuds for different ears, and they only stay in if you are stationary, any excessive moving that causes heavy sweating will likely make your earbuds fall out.As of 05/17/15 I went to my work bench to dismantle these buds, noticed that the wiring was loose. I re-soldered the joint back to the PCB, and now everything works, including all buttons are functional on android and i devices. Useless RMA wasted my time, when I can do it myself.

The sound quality of these is good, but the covers purple parts fall off wayyyy too easily. At least once a day, when I take them out of my pockets or purse, one of them flies off. Usually I notice and can retrieve it, but within the first few weeks of buying these, I had already permanently lost the left and right ones that fit my ears the best.It comes with two sizes of buds, so you can use the other sized buds as "spares," but these headphones would be a lot better if the purple parts didn't come off so easily. It seems that the large-sized ones are a bit more secure, but they still fall off too often. So far I've been lucky and found the missing one again a day or two later, but I'd guess I only have a month or so more of use before I lose one more and these earbuds become unuseable. Without the covers, the sound quality is poor and they fall out very easily. I noticed that on Amazon you can buy replacement covers, but the price is about the same as buying a whole new set.If it weren't for this major flaw, these would be a real winning set of headphones-- they never fall out, they sound good, and the microphone is good (it is quite far away from your mouth, but no one has ever complained that it was hard to hear), and they are very reasonably priced.

Good headphones. Sound quality is OK, and they do stay in, as advertised. However, I use them primarily to listen to audiobooks on my phone, so I can't judge how the good the sound quality is for listening to music. The wires are a bit flimsy, which makes them tangle more easily, but there have been no major problems in the short space of time that I've been using them.

After previously leaving negative feedback due to being sent an opened box with items missing... I took a chance and re-ordered another set of Yurbuds from the same supplier. This time the item was sealed and all the contents were there. :) As long as you follow the instructions then these earbuds really do stay in! I've now been for several runs and lent the Yurbuds to my boyfriend who was really impressed too. Great sound, comfortable and they stay put. Brill!

Tricky to insert.....in fact, very tricky to insert. I've resorted back to other headphones until I have more time to fiddle with them. Have used them twice and did like the ability to change the sound level on my iphone and speaker phone. Will persevere but in the meantime I have ordered a different brand.

I had been researching for quite some time for some good earphones for the gym, so my first test was this afternoon.Pros; Yes they stay in your ears, you can clip them to your shirt, good controller on wire.Cons; The sound quality is terrible, my iphone earbuds are 100 x better, so think I'm going to swap the plastic bits on the end to my iphone earbuds and see if that works. They are not very comfy either and its not great if you have piercings in your ears!Not sure if i would recommend, i think there may be better out there, for the price i expected way more!

I bought them for my daughter originally she said they are the best ear phones she has had . They stayed in her ear and were very comfortable, So I decided to borrow then fir the gym and I have to admit they are the best i've had and I've had the leading brand The outside noise is reduced the sound fantastic and very comfortable indeed.I would recommend these to every one ..
