Zwilling Sommelier Waiter's Corkscrew Wine

very solid, very sharp feels high end. For the money well worth it, a buy once kind of item. Would be a great gift for wine enthusiasts who always need another corkscrew.

I am a professional sommelier (CMS 2 Certified, WSET 3) and craft cocktail bartender, and I absolutely love this Zwilling-Henckels wine key. Over the past five years, I have purchased at least SIX of them. I currently own two -- one for work, and one for home. I have had at least two of them stolen! And I recently bought two more for two of my up-and-coming young bartenders as gifts. The wine key is a German design, made of stainless steel, with a two-stage lever, synthetic wood-grain side-piece grips, teflon-coated corkscrew, and a curved, non-serated, capsule knife. When new, the knife is beautifully honed for easily cutting any foil or plastic wine bottle capsules, but it will dull with extensive use over time. The upside is the knife is German stainless and it can be professionally re-sharpened to a like-new hone. I strongly recommend this wine key -- you can pay a lot more for a good wine key, and get a product that is not nearly as functional or durable as this one!

Very elegant design and very solid structure. I'm a professional sommelier and I use this for my everyday and I can attest for it's reliability. A good problem would be that the blade is dangerously sharp and you can very easily cut yourself, but eventually you get the hang of it.

You know; I just wanted a black key for my bar, and this was a dualie with a non-serrated blade, so I gave it a go. Turns out it’s the finest key I’ve ever owned. It’s really a very nice piece.

A step up from a Pulltaps, which is the gold standard opener to me. That said, this opener feels very solid in hand and the micarta scales look great. This opener is a great middle ground between practical (pulltaps or a boomerang 2 step) and a luxury opener (Chateau Laguiole, etc.) I actually prefer this to higher dollar openers (2 step is very important in my opinion).

I like the features of this Double hinge sommelier waiter’s corkscrew. The weight is 106g = 3.74 oz. Durable. I like the most in this corkscrew is you can sharpen the foil cutter and it is like a knife. It is dangerous but when people looking for the nice cut for the foil for the wine, this is the product for you. Unless you wanna buy code38.

arrived great however on micarta handle there are two small "imperfections" after inspecting. not worth returning as other sellers like macys flux the price and to order from zwilling direct isn't worth it either if there is another "imperfection-factory second detail". Zwilling return policy is terrible you have to pay to ship and pay for a box if you don't have one to ship AND they won't process original refund at zwilling customer sevrvice email~call if you bought at physical store order to ship option, the higher manager got involved and had to verify my ship tracking to the warehouse long time after shipping-return AND THEN he tells me after it was "escalated to be investigated if return to warehouse" with my ship tracking and paid box and paid shipping, he tells me he can only send me a gift card store card balance. the heck. whatever dude, opportunity in its own way to master all these "businesses"

Very happy with this corkscrew that I bought for a gift. Feels great in your hand and looks and feels more up-scale, than a regular bartender's corkscrew. Great gift.
