I liked the story and I liked the way the author revealed the details of the murder through a conversation between the main character and her brother. I also liked the hint of romance and a well plotted out murder. I would have given 5stars but I reduced that to 4 stars due o the fact that the story needs better editing. I found words missing in sentences that I had to fill in myself which makes for a bit of frustration.

The raspberry ripple cupcake is a curious but important clue in this electrifying good book. A fast paced tale of murder in a bakery is not the usual read and kept me captivated from the first chapter. Well rounded characters and a fascinating plot make this book easy to give a five star rating and a strong recommendation!

This was a good, short cozy mystery. It's the same general plot as a lot of cities but it was still interesting. I recommend it a a good read when you don't have time for a long story. And by the way - $120 in 20 dollar bills is not seven bills.

This was an ok cozy but I didn't really get too into the story and it didn't keep my interest. You didn't really get to know the main characters too much since they didn't develop them like other books.
