Must-have if you play any Stones
This book hits the sweet spot:- more detail than any tabs you might download or any lead sheet stle book with only lyrics and chord names.- none of the excessive detail that a note-for-note tab would clutter the page with- readable detail you can actually use while playing for others- chord diagrams no less which is helpful for weird chords you are not familiar with and right over the spot they go so you don't have to refer to a chord chart at the top of the page- chords more or less located right where you need to play them, eliminating the need to speculate which many downloadable tabs force you to do- Many nuances are opened up to you with the riffs shown hereDRAWBACK: Biased to standard tunings. Does not include all the guitar parts. Not a huge number of tunes BUT it does have many of the best ones. If you don't read music and rely on the crutch of tab then you might not get as much out of this book but it is still worth your money just for the chord diagrams and lyrics. Although if you are in that circumstance you would probably do just as well with lead sheets or downloading of good quality tabs that put the chords in the proper location. Pro tip: learn to read music and get the most out of this type of book.Well worth every penny. Don't miss out.

Complicated chords. Not a beginner book

Rolling stones music book
The book is what one would expect. It gets you on the navigational course, yet it still comes down to earing them out. I am glad I bought it.

Look no further
If you are looking for a pretty easy Stones tab for Sticky Fingers and earlier material - look no further. Tabs are good and complete except for solos, and actually appear to be done by someone who actually plays a guitar! Songs are 19th Nervous Breakdown, As tears go by, Brown sugar, get off my cloud, gimme shelter, honky tonk women, j.j.flash, last time, let it bleed, let's spend the night together, mother's little helper, no expectations, paint it,black, play with fire, ruby tuesday, satisfaction, sympathy for the devil, under my thumb, wild horses and you can't always get what you want. You'll get what you want with this book.I have 3 other Stones tab books. Wolf Marshall's and Hal Leonards are good too, but deal also with the later stuff and aren't quite apples to apples with 20 classic hits. I also have the London years and while that has more songs, it doesn't compare.

Good for easy songs!
Great songs and fairly easy tabs, which makes a huge difference. Got this as a gift for my dad and he isn't super patient with learning new songs but he has loved this book.

Complicated. Maybe this one works for somebody else.....
Hmmm....Ok, I guess. I'd prefer a regular fake book, you know, the melody with the chord names on top. This book has the vocals with two guitar parts, and each guitar part has a tableture. So, each measure has 5 lines or staffs; therefore, each song covers multiple pages. There are some economies where you have a single line, but the scores are complicated with multiple parts, codas, heads, etc. So, it's too much to just "read", you going to have to carefully analyze it, I mean, unless you're really good and skilled (excuse me).Nice selection of songs, but it doesn't work for me. I'd rather have a simple chart and just interpret the tune.
