Best, Easiest, Fastest Way to Clean the Cage
Update: 4/9/2016: Record cleaning time: 5 seconds. (I now time myself to see how fast I can clean his cage.)My little eclectus parrot is just over a year old now.I'm convinced if all parrot owners used "Cage Catcher Paper Liner" there would be a lot less need for parrot rescues!By the way, I saw someone in the "Questions" section state these are like butcher paper. Not at all. They are not water absorbent. So my little guy spilled a whole container of water in his cage last week. I decided to wait a day to clean it up to see if it soaked through to the next paper. Not a drop. It was still puddled on top of the paper the next day. So I rolled it up with the water still in the middle of the paper, and put it in the garbage. The next paper was beautifully clean, white, and dry-- and I also didn't need to do any clean up around the cage. Yay!Original post: I only bought my parrot a couple months ago, so since then I've been trying to figure out the best way to clean his cage. This is it. I tried a number of other solutions-- crushed walnut shells and a plastic sifter; crushed walnut shells and a number of kitty litter paper sifters; brown paper cut to size; rolled cage paper cut to size; etc., etc. Pretty much everything Amazon has to offer. All of those other solutions either took a lot of time; or kept the cage clean-- but made the surrounding room a lot more messy-- or both. Also, I usually didn't feel like the cage was really clean. I was always worried about a child-- or my bird-- being able to reach the tray and touching (or eating!) the mess at the bottom of the cage. Anyway, the Cage Catcher Paper Liners solved that problem. I just put a pile of these very thin, but waterproof liners at the bottom of my parrot's cage, and now I can clean it in 10 seconds, without having to get out the vacuum to clean up more mess around the cage. In fact, if I see company drive up to my house, I can change the bottom of the cage before they get to the front door. Since I know the majority of the company will be heading straight to meet my new baby parrot, having a clean cage makes the whole visit a lot more stress free. .

They work great, too bad they are not exactly the size ...
They work great, too bad they are not exactly the size I need. I also wish they would have come in a flat box instead of folded and creased in a box too small.
