Apple Mac Mini (3.2GHz 6-core Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB Storage) - Space Gray

Needed a mac os device for my home recording studio, my old macbook pro 4-cores i5 couldn't handle it no more so I went ahead and get this piece. If you're like me and dont need that extra retina display, get this mac mini. It's strong as a beast, 6-cores i7 made multitasking a breeze, had logic pro x running 20+ tracks, safari downloading 5+ gb files, safari streaming a 4k movie, and some minor folders managing all at the same time, no lag/delay. Was gonna break the bank with a mac pro 8-cores i9 cpu but good thing I didn't. Overall very satisfied with this device. The seller was good too, item arrived 5-6 days earlier than expected delivery date, all neat and well-packaged. 5/5 would recommend.

Overall I'm really happy with this Mac Mini and configuration. It is quite fast to star up and applications run smoothly. I normally use it for web development and coding in general, and statistical software. I don't use it for gaming or video editing so can't tell how it performs in that regard. I chose the Mac Mini over an iMac just because iMac has Fusion drive, while the Mac Mini has pure SSD, which is faster in my opinion.The only thing I don't like about the Mac Mini is the built-in speakers, the sound is not at all good, so probably will have to add some external speaker to it.

This is an absolutely formidable computer. It has a weak spot with respect to graphics. I paired it with a AMD RX Vega 56 in a Razer Core X eGPU enclosure. Resolve Studio now works so well I am flabbergasted.The Mini is beautiful to the point of looking like a work of art, has a wonderful variety of ports by Apple standards, runs quietly even when pushed to the max, and is just an all-around great computer.

Out of the box I had issues using Thunderbolt 3 devices. They would randomly stop working. I could move the devices to different ports and they worked for a while. All the devices were affected, so this was clearly an Apple Mac Mini issue. It was something I could had live with as I had began to rely on using this Mini daily for work. In the last couple of days it's simply stopped powering on. I have regretted every Apple purchase I've made in the last 4 years. Seems like quality has just been continually going down since the early 2000s.
