Carving Bears and Bunnies

Overall a good pictorial of Mr. Wolfe carving a bear and bunny. Limited written instructions or tips. Single side view line "patern" drawing for each of the six animals is included. You only see the steps for one bear and one bunny. You must apply what you have seen to the other four animals. There is a nice section on painting the animals. I have found it helpfull as a new carver.

Super cute book with really easy step by step carving instructions. I carved my first bear ever and had so much fun craving it thanks to this book.

I would have liked to see a better pattern to start with. I also would have liked to see more details walking through the process of the rabit.

Many pictures and most have little explanation, nor do they illustrate what the cut is for. The two subjects diagramed are only shown in side profile. I do not recommend this book.

The cutting pattern for any project in this book is very poor. I ended up hand drawing my own pattern(s) to accomplish what I needed.
