The quality of everything is amazing and the storage back to its box.I like the different varieties of the color bands.I use it to make charms or bracelets!

My kids paid for this out of their allowance and it unfortunately got lost in the mail. However, Amazon's customer service was fantastic and quickly sent us a new one. They have made 3D footballs for the Super Bowl and even a snake all out of rubber bands. I love how easy it is for them to use, they are 8 and 10 and can complete a lot of the projects with no help. Seems like a very high quality product.

This is the authentic Rainbow Loom. I purchased the one sold and shipped by Amazon. It does have the metal tip, and has the Rainbow Loom branding on all of the items. I bought this set, and their Finger Loom set on Amazon for my 8yr old daughter for Christmas. I also bought an extra case of bands on here. She was super excited because she added this to her wish list late in the season after seeing one at her friend's birthday party. This set is good if you're wanting to add charms or beads. If you're wanting to just make bracelets and necklaces with just the bands, I recommend just getting the Finger Loom. We're happy to have both sets tho, and it's nice to be able to make whatever you want, and to have the tools to do it, but my daughter keeps going for the Finger Loom to use as of now. My daughter was able to make a bracelet on her own, with me only showing her the first steps one time. After making a bracelet with me, she went off and made a necklace by herself as her 2nd ever creation, with a cute pattern to boot. The necklace was made on the Finger Loom! She did ask for help connecting the ends, but that's it. I was surprised with how quickly she picked it up. I made a bracelet on the Finger Loom with the bands from this set, and it was super thick and cool. I don't know which step I did differently, but I'm pretty proud of my first creation, too. I will say that the Finger Loom is best, and was the easiest if you're just wanting to make a bracelet or necklace of only bands. You can literally just keep going and going to any length you desire on the Finger Loom. It is a great addition to the Rainbow Loom brand. I personally would recommend both sets, but would choose the Finger Loom if I could only get one. I hope the pictures of everything will help. You can see the bracelet I made, and my daughter wearing the necklace she made.

My girls got this for Christmas. It's a great bracelet making kit for 9yr olds. The colors are beautiful. The directions are easy to understand and it's definitely worth the price.

Rainbow Loom is a perfect gift for Christmas or birthdays. It helps stimulate creativity and improves fine motor skills. It keeps kids engaged while they create colorful designs, making it both fun and educational.

I have a few types of looms now. Rainbow Loom is my favorite by far. - The pattern on each peg is a C, which helps keep bands on the peg. My other looms only have a tab that overhangs one side which allows bands to slip off while I'm looming. This is especially annoying in advanced patterns when a slipping band can ruin an entire design or beginner loomers that get frustrated over the slipping bands. - Rainbow Loom allows for multiple set-ups for the loom itself. The loom is made up of three peg strips and three connectors. The connectors are removable to allow for different configurations and additional units to be attached. You can have a staggered configuration (most looms come in this formation and doesn't allow for change) and a straight configuration (all pegs lined up and loom is in a rectangle). Though the configuration isn't THAT important since a design can be done on either, it is helpful for younger loomers. It also allows for entire rows to be removed for specific designs. - When adding additional units (using only one unit does not make very long bracelets), removable connectors make loom more stable than other looms. -Since the peg strips come out, if a unit is broken, it can be replaced without buying a new loom. The downsides are: - Item only comes with about 600 bands, so you'll need to purchase some more. Luckily these are cheap if you find the right kits. - This loom seems smaller than my others by a column or two, but as stated earlier, the addition of a second loom makes up for the lack. Also, even with the extra pegs, the bracelets aren't big enough.

I've had several looms in the past, both with pins and with solid bases. The ones with the pins broke or were unstable and did not stay in place/attached the plastic bases and the solid bases were always very limiting. The Official Loom was always too expensive for me to buy (particularly when you factor in shipping) but I bought this loom when it was £2.99 an item and I have to say I should have bought an official one sooner, as they are more than worth the price I paid and are worth the original price tag. I bought 2 looms (separately, not bundled - and fullfilled by Amazon with Prime) and both are genuine products as verified by the 'secret code' and the Rainbow Loom official website. They include everything the description states and I'm very very impressed with the quality. Even the quality of the paper stock used for the instruction manual is high. I suggest buying from the Amazon fulfilled option, and checking the price a few days in a row to see any changes, as the price seems to fluctuate ( I bought these early on 23/02/15 and I have recieved them on 24/02/15 and the price per loom has changed by £2.)

I recently have gotten back into looming and have been using a fake Rainbow Loom to loom for a while. It's quite bad in quality, so I decided to hop onto amazon and pick up a real Rainbow Loom! When I received this in the mail today, I was very surprised! I didn't realize how much clearer the real Rainbow Loom was, and how it had a nice weight to it. The bases stay on properly without falling off, and the metal hook is great as I'm no longer nervous about breaking my hook while making a bracelet, however, the mini Rainbow Loom that the hook comes with does not fit on the hook properly. I am not able to properly put the hook into it, so I just placed my hook into my other mini Rainbow Loom from my Monster Tail. Perfect! Problem solved, however, it is still a bit inconvenient. Ignoring that, I absolutely love the kit! It comes with a bag of bands and some c-clips, as well as gift bags! The gift bags are delightful! They feel so professional, and the look of a bracelet inside of one is so satisfying! I may just buy some separate gift bags myself! All in all, this kit was great! No problems occurred, and the package arrived 4 days earlier than expected - no prime! Wow!
