I bought and installed this Maxpower blade about the first week in April 2026. I have mowed steadily with it every week since. I inspected it after 3 months of use expecting to have to sharpen it. My previous blade I had to replace after mowing the last 3 months of the 2025 mowing season here . It was an Oregon brand 198-049 that I discovered had all all four corners worn off and the blade's curved upward air lifts were CRACKED. It had to go as I could see this becoming a serious safety hazard if I used it any further. My new Maxpower blade, used the same amount of time, still has a decent edge on it ,did not need sharpening yet and was neither worn down or cracked. Yeah, it cost a little more but has turned out to be worth every cent of it's purchase price thus far. It is good to find anyone that still makes and sells a quality product these days.

Item arrived on time and was as described. This was an exact fit and match for my mower. Blade works perfectly very happy and would recommend this item.

The blade is sharp. Better than my previous blades. It fits perfectly with my lawn mower. It looks brand new.

This blade has a little more lift in its design than the blade it replaced. The blade body is thick. The cutting edge is not as sharp as I expected for a new blade, but its working well. Will buy again when the time comes.

I found this blade by searching the part code on Amazon, so it was the exactly fit for my lawnmower but $30 cheaper than some other brands. Have been using it for 3 months now and so far it still sharp and doing a perfect job on cutting the grass in my backyard. Good quality!
