12" x 30" x 1" Disposable Panel Air Filters - Case of 12

I live in Texas, and when it gets above a hundred degrees, no air conditioner can really keep up with the heat. Because of that, I like to use these thinner panel filters in the hot months to get more airflow through the whole system. They don't filter as well, so we change them out more frequently, and they've been a big help in keeping things down to more "normal" temperatures inside.

I favor to replace the filters every month instead of using expensive ones that supposedly last longer. I just have a hard time trusting the high end quality long term filtering performance.... I'm very happy, also because it became increasingly difficult to get them at the DIY store.

Very reasonable price even with shipping. We searched these because our annual HVAC pm tech educated us on the poor air flow as a result of using a permanent washable filter that never really comes clean and highly restricts air flow. Hmmm. Searching for a disposable filter showed that filtering dirt, dust, critter hair and the occasional bug is not enough for some people. There seems to be add ons that increase the price, promise to cure allergies and in general promote world peace and health. All at a high price when the filter is changed monthly and still restricting air flow greatly. Enter the cheap, all it does is filter air, made with recyclable material, and is inexpensive. Who cares if my neighbors have extended the oneupmanship race to air filters? They work great, are changed monthly and recycled along with the junk they collected. Perhaps my next purchase will include parts of one that we recycled. Buy them, they work. You will be happy with them.
