Great product for cheap. This one selas nicely so it doesn’t dry out

Wish I had found this product 10 years ago. I absolutely love this DAP DryDex spackling compound. The dry time indicator is genius - goes on pink so you can see exactly where you've applied it, then dries completely white when ready for the next step. Best part is it blends in perfectly with my existing white walls. For smaller nail holes and minor dings, I didn't even need to paint over it once dry. The white finish matches so well that repairs are virtually invisible. Application is smooth and easy, no clumping or difficulty spreading. Dries relatively quickly and the color change makes it foolproof to know when it's ready. Saves tons of time not having to prime and paint every little wall repair. It's a little tough to get out of the tube, no matter how big you make the hole, but it works just like the container - it goes on pink and dries white. I prefer the tube when it comes to filling in nail holes, when you only need a little at a time. Once the cap is put back on, it won't dry out.

The title says it all. Same reliable quality, just in an easier to use container for those of us not buying it buy the gallon.

Tube surprisingly handy for this type of product. Both to aoply and to store. Hoping it stays good for a long time as my tubs of this seem to dry out too quick. Cannot vouch for ' heavy duty' quality but it did what I needed so what more can you ask for?

This was so incredibly easy to use and dried completely white and perfect! I am no DIYer, and even I couldn't mess it up. Just applied, scraped away the excess with a small spatula, and my wall looks like new. No smell, no pink color, no evidence of a hole.
