Best for the road!
Great pedal board for people that is on the road and like minimalist and compact gear. It fits perfectly in my Mono Tick case that attaches to my gig bag so I don’t have to carry anything else. I can fit 4 pedals but all depends on the size of the pedal of course. I even have a mini ISO Brick power supply under it. Just perfect!

Perfect size
Perfect for smaller gigs when I don’t need the mothership.

Perfect!
Just the right size for my needs. It does seem a bit expensive for what it is, however, it does include everything you need to get going, and the well made and excellent fitting padded bag goes along way towards making this a highly useful product. The included Velcro works very well for it's intended purpose. I use it for 3 pedals, a tuner, compressor, and preamp/DI, and it's absolutely perfect for that. Yes, you can make your own, but this is well made, looks nice, and has everything you need get going in one easy to assemble package.

I really like this, but i had to upgrade to the pedaltrain mini
I have a korg pitchblack plus, a line 6 G50 wireless and two xotic pedals (which are really small). I can get them all to fit on the nano, but not with the connecting cables, which always take up a bit more room than you think they will. The construction of the nano and it's case are really good though. good welds, good black finish, good velco material included and good zipper and padding on the case. I wish the case had a pocket or two. Also, the case has a couple of straps for attaching to a gig-bag to make for hands free carry. This is good in principle, but i think it puts quite a bit of stress on the neck of the guitar. I'm a bass player and the amount of relief in the neck of my bass is very crucial. I'm not crazy about hanging 10 lbs of stuff off the gig-bag where the main support is the neck - which is already under considerable tension from the strings. This is just a small gripe really. If you need a small sturdy pedalboard, this is it.

Quick, convenient, and bomb-proof
I moved from one of those larger pedal "bags" full of pedals I wasn't using and wiring that kept tangling around my ankle, after giving road help to a touring musician who uses one of Pedaltrain's larger models. Very high quality, and well designed and thought out. (And comes with a bag with straps that work to piggyback it on a gig bag -- which is really handy.) My main instrumentation (I'm primarily a vocalist) is a ukulele run through reverb, delay, octave and a looper (all nano-size models) that go into the effects loop input in an L.R. Baggs Para Acoustic DI (which doesn't go on the board, as I often use it alone), and picking up the Pedaltrain Nano forced me to cut down to just those pedals I actually use on a regular basis. Now I get on and off the stage quickly and smoothly, without it looking like I'm trying to untangle miles of fly-fishing line! Be careful to buy the right size for the number and sizes of pedals you use, but whatever model, get yourself one!

Pedaltrain Nano pedal board, with soft case.
If you're looking for something that will mount 3 pedals (maybe 4, if small and you get creative with placement), than this is perfect. Light, solid, and the case holds everything securely. Not much room for power adapters though, and you might have to pack them away somewhere else. I like the open rails on Pedaltrain, great way to hide wires, and make power connections. They give you lots of Velcro, and it seems to be good quality, although time will tell. I could see having two or three of these boards with mission-specific pedals attached, rather than carting around all your pedals on one big board. I'm using this with my bass rig, and it nicely contains two Xotic pedals and a Eden WTDI preamp.

Great small pedalboard.
I have 2 of these as well as a larger JR as my main board. 1 nano is for my effects loop board that has reverb, chorus, and delay on it. The other is for my bedroom board that has 4 pedals on it. It's easier to use the smaller board for my bedroom practice amp than my larger board used on my main rig. The case is nice and protects the pedals. This is a great board if you don't have a hughe amount of pedals or just want a small board that can be easily transported.

Small, but effective
I purchased this board for use in a small theater for musicals. My pit space is very limited and my larger PT-1 just took up too much space. For most shows I only use a few pedals, so this works well. I can put 4 pedals on this board with no problem (all boss and MXR size). The board is very sturdy and well designed. Don't expect to put any large pedals on this board. Wah, Whammys, multi effects will be too large. If you need a good small board, this is a great choice.
