Munki MunkiLadies’ Flannel PJ Set

I figured they would be very large, but they’re pajamas. The material is sturdy yet soft.

1) PJs are way too big. This was packaged, in a way that it was impossible to see the sizing, much less try it on, until most of the labels were removed. I therefore felt it couldn't be returned.2) Perhaps this other thing is on me, if I didn't read the description carefully. The problem is that the product is not 100% cotton. It is a cotton/rayon blend. The result is not as heavy/warm as it would be in all cotton. It also doesn't shrink so, in this case, is also a problem.

I love these Pajamas, they are well made & will keep you warm in chilly nights. The waist is high, but comfortable & is adjustable. The pants have pockets which comes very handy. Originally I bought my first Munki Munki Pajamas one year ago for Costco for $20 Dollars. These pajamas cost is average $80 Dollars at the company website. I was so happy to find the pajamas at Amazon for less than $15 Dollars, so I bought few of them. All the pajamas I bought were in size small. For some strange reason non of the pajamas have the same fit. I usually & in general wear size x-small. Costco was offering only size small, so I tried. After few washes the Costco pajamas did shrink & now they fit perfectly. The 2 pajamas I ordered from Amazon are size small as well. But one is big & the other is too huge. I compared the 2 pajamas & one of the them is at least 2 inches bigger. So be aware that the sizes are not consistent & the pajamas will shrink with repeated washing. I just hope that the ones I bought from Amazon will shrink much more so they can fit me better and I can wear them.

The tag on these pajamas say the fabric is 70% rayon from bamboo and 30% cotton. That's kind of confusing because rayon is synthetic man-made and bamboo is as natural as cotton. Bamboo is supposed to be a "better" natural fabric than cotton and nevertheless, these pajamas feel like total cotton and are very comfortable. They are my favorite pair of pajamas! One thing I love about them is the pants have pockets and I can carry my cell phone around in them. I also like the fact that they have a self adjusting length option for the pants which you can fold up and snap into place. The only negative is I wish they had a top button that was placed higher for those cold winter nights that you want to keep the cold draft out. I easily fixed that by adding my own button and buttonhole, but I wish it had come already made like that. Nevertheless, they are a great buy!

These are the softest and most comfortable pajamas I’ve ever worn, but they aren’t without drawbacks. A seam frayed after three or four washes in my agitator washing machine. I no longer wash them inside-out but am not sure that will stop the fraying. Also, the tops seem to be a size smaller than the bottoms. They stretch out to be more comfortable within about thirty minutes of wear. However, I doubt the tops would work for someone with large busts even after the stretching. The legs and arms are initially very long but shrink with washing to a length that probably would work for most tall and average height women. In spite of the drawbacks, I’m keeping them because, for a long as they last, they are so comfortable.

So, I bought these at a store first, and liked them so much that I wanted to buy a pair for my best friend for Christmas. I went online and found them on Amazon, and had them mailed to her. She absolutely loves them, and has even sent me pictures of her wearing them. The fabric is really durable, and soft, and warm, (everything you want in P.J.'s) They have a really cute feature... snaps on bottom of the legs, so you can snap them up to make them a bit shorter if need be. I use those when I put on my boots to go outside, so it keeps the bottom of the pants out of the dirt. I also got them for a great price here....and I mean good, $20 cheaper then anywhere else. Score!

Super soft, thick, quality made & very comfy! 4 Stars. Fits to size ordered, (Large) bc I like a tad loose, BUT huge problem, it SHRINKS when washed & dried. Had to order a size larger (XL), but worth the comfort. Has pockets in pants and one in shirt for readers! The legs have side snaps, to shorten if they drag or you’re shorter. I am 5’ 6.5 (66.5”) tall and they fit length well if you order up a size and then shrink to fit 😂Gave the first set to my daughter. If not for being unaware of shrinking issue ahead of time, I would have given 5 stars.

This is a 5 star product by all standards EXCEPT...why are the pant legs made for someone 6 ft tall? Even using the snap up cuff does no good at all, although the snap up cuff would be more effective if their were 4 snaps vs. 2. Just saying (hinting!) The material is luxurious and these can actually be worn in cold weather up to about 70*.The quality is unbeatable. I love my Munki Munki PJs but have to figure out what to do with the extra 7 inches of leg room!
