Slight improvement over Epiphone switch; had to modify this one to make it work
For this price, I was hoping this would be a rock-solid switch to upgrade my Epiphone (original switch was making popping/static noises sometimes). After installing, the bridge pickup was not working at all, had to pull it out again. Realized that one of the metal arms(?) inside was not making solid contact, even when in the middle/neck position. I had to use tweezers to bend the arm so it would make contact. That fixed the issue, and with this new switch the popping/static is gone. However, considering there are $6 switches available that probably work just as well, I'm not sure I would spend $20 on this again.

Perfect drop-in replacement for an aging Ibanez Iceman
The toggle switch on my nearly 2 decade old IC300 was feeling loose, so I figured I’d replace it with something they felt snug but looked OEM.This one seems to be the exact same size in terms of height that my guitar came with, and dropped into the hole and felt like a snug, secure fit. While playing, flipping the switch results in a nice clean change without any static, noise, or dropout. While this wasn’t the cheapest switch I could find, it is a perfect fit and I don’t see why anyone would look for the cheapest possible product to put into a instrument that they spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on.

Perfect replacement for my Epiphone Slasher
My 2001 Epiphone Slasher is a great bargain guitar. However, the factory three way switch had been giving me fits. I made the original last as long as I could by bending the springs and dressing the contacts. After months of fiddling I finally gave up and got this great SwitchCraft replacement. It was an easy swap that required beginner soldering skills and about 20 minutes to complete. I am back in action and I could not be happier!

Tight fit but it works.
I just installed this switch in a 2019 Epiphone custom Les Paul pro silver burst. The neck of the switch fit the hole but not much wire length to comfortably solder. Thankfully I am not an armature. I got the job done. If you are not experienced in soldering, practice a lot. The joints are close together and the wire is small and fine. Tin the wires first, this will help. The switch is noticably better than the cheap one Epiphone used. Good luck.

Love it
This switch works great, it replaced a 3 way switch on my japanese jackson rr. It doesnt make any noise when switching and the action is smooth. I have no issues with the switch staying in the bridge or neck position. This switch does not come with the mounting nut which was a problem for me since it was replacing an "import" switch and they are threaded differently. Im not docking stars for that because the switch doesnt say it includes the mounting nut but just wanted to make "import" switch replacers aware.

You get what you pay for, premium price and switch
It works exactly as it should. the popular switch of choice when upgrading/replacing a 3 way toggle. Most likely because there aren't many other options readily available that are of comparable quality. The newer ones I've received might have a bit more side-to-side play in them than the ones we used to get back in the day, but they still seem to last for years and years of accidental slamming during Townsend-esque windmills and the always awesome on/off effect you get by abusing the switch with one pickup turned all the way down :) The switch tip included is a nice touch too.

Perfect fit for mine.
I bought this to replace the toggle on an Oscar Schmidt Les Paul. Heavy, solid and highly machined, the toggle is smooth and secure with no free play. It should be sold with a knurled deep-dish nut (as seen on Les Paul Supreme) in addition to the stock flat nut.

perfect replacement for a Fender Mustang
Dropped a MIJ Fender Mustang and broke the end off the pickup switch. This is a direct replacement, and at least as well made as the stock switch.
