A new and thicker version of the best-selling Forest Floor brand of printed wood grain interlocking EVA foam mats, the 5/8-inch (15mm) thickness of Forest Floor is 66% thicker than the entry level thickness, making it more suitable for higher-traffic areas and personal fitness activities. Whether you're looking for a cost-effective general padding solution in your home or office, or you're setting up a space designed for childcare, play, or fitness, Forest Floor is the perfect solution for you. The additional thickness of this series makes it a great choice for a sophisticated home gym space, ideal for yoga, pilates, and bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, burpees, planks, squats, and lunges. Designed for assembly on a hard, flat indoor surface, the Forest Floor mats will provide a durable and comfortable padded surface to reduce impact and joint strain, and the handsome wood grain patterns will enhance the appearance of any space. Interlocking tiles should not be installed over carpet, and you may wish to use double-sided flooring tape for any semi-permanent installation. EVA foam is a soft product and will indent under furniture or heavy objects. It is subject to puncture and can be damaged by pets. Each Forest Floor tile measures 24" x 24" (4 square feet per tile) and comes with two detachable border pieces included, allowing you to finish most regular installation shapes with a straight edge. EVA foam is easily trimmed with a sharp knife or scissors, so you can measure your space and cut tiles to fit for a snug wall-to-wall installation. Please note that the wood grain pattern is a printed surface, and as such is subject to fading over time. Extended exposure to direct sunlight may cause the printed surface to fade more rapidly. Forest Floor tiles are lead-free, latex-free, and phthalate-free; a non-toxic floor padding solution you'll enjoy from the moment you open the box.

Perfect for our in-home dance studio
I did a lot of research to find the best fit for my needs and this is the solution. I needed to cover an 8x10 concrete space in the garage with something that would soften the surface enough for dancing but not be too spongy while looking nice. So far this does the trick. I saw some reviews of similar products that the wood grain print had peeled off. I will give this product an updated review if anything like that happens. It appears to be good quality. The reason I did not give the full 5 stars is there is a strong chemical smell that is pretty bad. I am hoping with time it will air out. Had to wash my hands after putting it together because I felt like I had chemy residue on my hands (could be a delusion from the fumes tho;) because of this, I would not recommend this type of flooring for children's spaces. I will be washing the surface and hope the off gassing us not slowly killing me. Other than that i Really do love my new dance studio!!! See pics for look and thickness.Oh, also there were a ton of extra end pieces. Seeing as specific dimensions were ordered it seems wasteful.

Comfy flooring but discolored over time.
Love the quality and comfort of this flooring. We use it in our boys playroom and it’s been great! My only issue is it is less than a year old and all the borders of the tiles are turning red. This room gets natural sunlight but no direct sun. The company said this is part of the normal wear and tear. Unfortunately I bought this flooring for a nice look and now it’s not looking so great. But beside the physical appearance, it is holding up nicely!

... a concrete basement floor and the effect is both beautiful and comfortable
We used this on a concrete basement floor and the effect is both beautiful and comfortable. The basement now feels like a room and the kids have a more usable play space. Easiest room makeover ever.

Easy to cut to fit an non rectangular space
We bought this to make a cushioned floor for our motorhome. It was easy to lay down and easy to cut to fit around things (I used an Exacto knife with a new blade). In addition to looking good this makes our motorome a bit quieter when driving and very comfortable to walk around in. We really like the pattern and our dogs like sleeping on it. If you have a big dog (100 pounds), make sure his nails are trimmed or he will leave small holes in the top of the tiles. This did not surprise me as I always assumed that these tiles were not designed, nor intended to be used as a floor for large dogs.

Nice but color was darker than expected
I really like the quality of these and they are nice and thick, which I was looking for. However, the color was a few shades darker than what it looked like on my screen, and what a "White Oak" color name would imply. They ended up being a rich brown color, which is much darker than I was looking for for my kitchen floor. So now I need to look for something lighter to cover them up, which defeats the purpose of getting these wood grained eva tiles. Otherwise, they are great so far.

Perfect for work areas
Bought these foam interlocking floor mats to use on top of tile floor under exercise equipment. It worked great. When we changed rooms for the exercising equipment, we used the foam mats in front of bathroom sinks. It works great there, too. Helps with leg comfort and temperature control on tile floors. Absolutely recommend because they are so versatile and they hold up to use.

comfortable to stand on
Was looking for something to put in the kitchen to stand on that wasn't a mat. Fits perfectly where we needed it too. looks great and is great to stand on. Easy to clean. My only complaint is that it is not resistant to drops from things. My son accidently dropped something and made a hole in it. Can not use a step ladder on it either makes marks on it and could potentially put holes in also. My wife is short and has to use one for things that are on the top shelf in cabinets.

Pretty firm...
These are a nice size and color, and they do help when standing for a long time, I personally think they are a little too firm. But I do recommend them. Much better than standing on the hard concrete or floor.
