A Great Read
A very entertaining, and informative read. Not great literature...but, I really enjoyed it. The characters were drawn very vividly, and I learned a lot about the variety of co-existing ways of lives, religions, etc. in Bombay and in India.

😃😃
A fantastic collection of short stories. Beautifully written. I got a real sense of humanity here. These people have so little and are treated appallingly, but their own generosity and kindness keep coming through.

Bombay alive!
A delightful collection of stories that give the reader a wonderful glimpse into a broad cross section of this vibrant metropolis. For those who have experienced life in Bombay, as I have, you cannot help but being drawn in to each episode as the drama unfolds around you. For all others, Ken provides a fast-forward introduction into the greatness as well as the trials and tribulations of this enigmatic city.

A trip down memory lane....
A wonderful collection of stories - as I read each one I was transported back in time (very willingly) to the city in which I spent the greater part of my life. Extremely well written with beautifully drawn and recognisable characters; I couldn't put it down once I started reading and the end left me looking for more. Thank you Ken for a fantastic read and keep the stories coming!

Three Stars
Good read.

disappointing
I am about 65% of the way through it and am now going to quit. I keep looking for a plot. It seems to be many short stories, none of which seem to have a conclusion or be in any way connected.

depressing stories
Makes one depressed after reading. The good part is there are lot of short stories so its easy to read for an impatient guy like me
