Where can I find the metal wire version of this?

This is much better than the metal wire one. It doesn't leave little bits of metal and won't scratch grills. And last a lot longer I'm going on 6 years.

Will this fit the original Brush Hawg wire brush?

I have an original Brush Hawg wire brush purchased in 2004 or 2005 and it will fit but requires minor modification to do so. The Brush Hawg head is slightly tapered on one end where as this nylon head is a rectangle. You have 2 options both requiring a dremel or similar tool to either taper the new head (what I did) or expand the original brush head area on the Hawg to fit the rectangle. It took very little effort to make this fit and I could have probably done it with a hand file. Made to fit = No but will it...Yes
