Copperzilla vs. 80 Years of Fouling
I needed to remove a ton of copper gilding that was affecting the performance of a 1928 Mosin-Nagant 91/30. We shoot military rifles in Albuquerque at 200 to 800 meters and I knew what these old rifles are capable of at extreme distances. It took about 10 applications but you could feel and see the fluid binding with and removing decades of heavy copper residue in a hard paste from the bore. I used to use Shooters Choice on these old bores, but you could not leave it in overnight. Copperzilla is plant-based and not a harsh or erosive chemical and can be left in for long times to literally melt that old gilding so it can be removed with bore brushes & patches. It rewards patience and the results at the range at 300 and 500 meters were improved like night and day. No chemical odor and very effective on restoring the shooting potential of this nice old Dragoon Mosin.

You won't be disappointed
I have a friend who asked me to see if I could “fix” his rifle which had seemed to have lost its accuracy. It didn’t take long to discover the problem; the bore was copper fouled. On a whim I decided to give Copperzilla a try and see if I could bring that rifle bore back to life. After deciding to follow the instructions on the bottle to the letter, well, to be frank, I was amazed. Within 30 minute (45 max.) that 7x57 bore looked like it had never had round fired through it. His accuracy came back and my friend swears it never shot better.I can’t speak to the improved accuracy but I can to the cleaning ability of this product. Copperzilla is tops in my book and I have been cleaning rifles for over 50 years so there aren’t many cleaners I haven’t used. I do suggest that you use Copperzilla in conjunction with the CLP Gunzilla. I don’t think there is a better combination on the market.

Copperzilla is awesome
Stuff works very well, but make sure the room temp is over 70 degrees F. It works about 3x faster and better in warmer temperatures. This is info straight from the manufacturer. It says so on the bottle. My basement was 65 and it wasn't working well. I emailed them and they told me to try it in a warmer place over 70. The difference was huuuuge! Worked much better than ammonia based solvents on copper and is bio friendly

Way Too Expensive
I bought a 2 ounce bottle of Copperzilla to compare with Bore Tech Copper Cleaner. I did not see a bigger bottle offered. They both clean copper quite well with patches coming out dark blue. However, Copperzilla is way too expensive. It is about$7.50/Ounce. Bore Tech is about $1.62/Ounce for a 16 fluid ounce bottle. In fairness, Copperzilla is much thicker and will work on nylon brushes better but I just can't justify the price difference. This coming from a guy who loves Gunzilla.

Cleans tough copper fouling without the strong odor
My husband recently bought Copperzilla to clean copper fouling out of the barrel of a 90's era .357 revolver. Nothing else had worked to get the fouling out, even the regular Gunzilla he swears by for routine cleaning. This cleaned the barrel in one go. We were also pleasantly surprised that Copperzilla has almost no odor. A great bonus! This may become our new routine cleaning solution!

Great stuff, less stank, safer. Get it!
I am surprised how much copper this removes, considering it doesn't burn your nostrils and stink up the house like most copper solvents!Works great!!! You have to see it to believe it.

Great bore cleaner, works as advertised.
Great bore cleaner. I soaked a swab, ran it through some well fired but previously cleaned barrels, and let them sit for half a day. Ran a nylon brush through, used Gunzilla on swabs, and finished with a bore snake. Bores are all mirror bright now. Amazing how much residue Copperzilla got out of "clean" bores. It's now part of my cleaning routine.
