"The Pink Ladies" (1979) is an adult/hardcore film directed by Roger Watkins (with some sites such as the IMDB also crediting Robert Michaels as a co-director). There is not much plot to speak of but the basic framework for the almost nonstop sex involves some married women who play racquetball that indulge in various sexual fantasies along with their husbands. The film's runtime is a brisk 76 minutes 57 seconds with excellent pacing. The hardcore scenes feature terrific variety including some kinky bondage and use of body paint along with an all girl scene that was a particular highlight. The acting is actually pretty good throughout and the musical soundtrack is quite inspired. Anyone who is a fan of vintage late 70's erotica will find a lot to like here."The Pink Ladies" was scanned & restored in 2K from its original 33mm camera negative by Vinegar Syndrome. It is presented on this blu-ray in its original 1.85:1 aspect ratio utilizing the AVC codec at a beefy bit rate occasionally getting into the low 40's. Simply put the film looks fantastic with superb detail and accurate skin tones. No digital noise reduction or sharpening was used with this transfer. This movie was a little more hard core than I thought before watching it. But that was only a GOOD THING, I was very happy with it I knew nothing about this movie before purchase. Again this is a very good movie.

The package arrived two days late. However, as the shipping period included the Christmas Festive Season, this is (probably) reasonable. Additionally, both disc and case arrived in good condition."Pink Ladies" has little plot or characterisations (treated as a single movie) . It merely wanders from sex skit to sex skit. It consists of a series of seperate skits. Initally, I thought excellent, all the effort will be channeled into the 'action' (sex scenes). However, disappointment soon set in. To elaborate, I will discuss some of these skits.1. The gymn pervert - whilst watching the four housewives in the gymn showers, the pervert fantasises about them playing ball games (naked) and then three 'pleasing' him. 'Hot', maybe but standard erotic fare. Nothing original, here. Why not have him having his own 'wicked way' (singularly / group) with the four housewives. Afterall, it's his fantasy.2. The father who covets after his son's girlfriend - the father fantasises he has sex with his son's girlfriend. The problem is, the son has better sex than the father. It would have been an awesome skit if the father had taken the girlfriend 'to the moon and back'. To show his son how to fully pleasure a woman.3. The sword swallower - one of the four housewives fantasises she is an accomplished sword swallower accompanying by three circus acts (two strongmen and elastic penis man). The men (Individually) have classic sex with the sword swallower. Again, standard erotic fare. It would have been better movie if other 'toys' (Eg. dildo) had been introduced to simulate the sword swallowing , perhaps in other regions of her body.4. The husband with a sadomasochism fantasy - the husband fantasises he is the slave (bound, pegged nipples, whipped and belittled) by his wife. Again, it is very tame (weak). There is no (real) sex in this fantasy. This could have been a terrific fantasy with the introduction of some exquisite sex.5. The birds and the bees fantasy - a husband fantasises he is a school teacher who is physically teaching a coy adolescent girl about the birds and the bees. Generally, this skit is well done, although perhaps provocative. The best (by far) of the bunch. Finally, one exciting skit.The remaining skits are predictable, 'run of the mill' erotica. Nothing outstanding, nothing unique, nothing memorable. That is not to say that the sex (in the movie) is not 'hot' / racy, but that it could of been so much better with the right presentation. The talent (actors and director) were there. I am sure they (actors and director) are capable of putting together a memorable movie. It is such a pitty that better use was not made of them. This movie could of been legendary.The movie was well shot with plenty of closeups in the sex scenes. Also, the shoots were well framed with clear, sharp images. The image quality is quiet remarkable: low noise (predominately film grain).In summary, a mediocre movie : containing one good sex skit, a scattering of copious customary spicy erotic scenes (throughout the whole movie), along with plenty of missed opportunities.
