Not Enough Time (Yaoi)

This yaoi is really cute. The style is adorable and the whole thing flows nicely. However, many of them don't seem to have plots and the characters aren't that believable. Still, it holds a place in my heart. It's one of those yaois that when you read it, you sometimes don't understand what happened in a coversation because the translation is funny. Eventually, you'll get it though. Even though the translation is choppy sometimes, it's still a really good manga. I recommend it to all yaoi lovers out there.

I really love this mangaka. Her art style is beautiful and unlike many other artists' characters, hers characters all look very unique.Even though this isn't my favorite of Shoko Hidaka's works, I still have to give this book 5 stars. For what it is, it's great; it's a collection of short stories that each give you just a tiny glimpse into the romantic relationships of different men. But in that way, each story feels like it's missing a little bit of something. That's most often a clear resolution. You just never feel like you're seeing quite the whole picture, because each story is so short and is just a small piece of a more complex tale that isn't written. But, such is the way of the short story! It is what it is.Every story contains at least one love scene, but often more, and Shoko Hidaka's are some of the best. It's never just thrown in there for the sake of doing it and her art is really just exquisite in every respect.

**3.75 stars**I didn't see the point to a lot of the stories - they ended on a weird note...Also, nothing stood out. The stories weren't memorable. However, I thought that it was okay enough overall, while I was reading the chapters.Also, this is rated 16+ - I would say its closer to 18+ so keep that in mind if you aren't into more explicit scenes or if you wanted to gift this to someone.

I did enjoy this book and found it soothing and sexy--but yes, it is a soft yaoi. The art is good and the guys who have 'friends with benefits' are all well drawn. The artistic background is lacking detail but the pacing of the story flows like a smaller stream. I liked how the stories begin at various points in their relationships. Such as after a 10 year break or after 4 years of hiding your love and your not even sure it's an 'official' relationship.I also like that the story isn't completely spelled out for the reader which is really rather swell when you have to think to figure out when something took place. I like going back a couple pages and saying "ah, that's what that was..."The storylines aren't that original except the one about the Policeman and Public Defender. But what I've noticed is certain types of stories draw me more then others and these stories suit me well.It's very sweet and gives you fuzzies. It will not rev you up and make you run around the house. If you could deal with the pacing of Only the Ring Finger Knows then this is comparable.

Het was een heel mooi boek. De levering was optijd en er was niks kapot of beschadigd.

It took less than I expected to be shipped and this is one of my favorite mangakas so I'm more than happy

Habe mir diesen Manga auf gut Glück gekauft und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Wunderschöner Zeichenstil. Tolle Kurzgeschichten und nette Charaktere.Richtige Mischung aus Handlung und Yaoi. Leider gibt es von Shoko Hidaka nicht mehrere Manga. Kann es nur jeden Yaoi-Fan wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
