Like many of the reviews note
I heard about this book via another author I respect. I read the reviews. The reviews prompted me to buy the book. When the book arrived, it was clear that the reviews were spot on! This book is not necessarily a book on shamanic philosophy although it is deeply philosophical, which is to say spiritual.Like many of the reviews note, the book is packed from cover to cover with experiential exercises. This book requires some commitment to extract its wisdom. It requires what Tom Brown calls, "dirt time." If you are not committed to the work of the subject and to invoking awareness, then skip on to something else. This is not a primer for the curious. Instead, it is an essential road map for those who have no use with the hamster wheel they have been riding, sometimes for years. It is instead a book for 'seekers' anti establishment types, non conformists, learners, explorers, and those seeking inner transformation. A native saying tells us, "It is a good day to die." Unless you can resonate fully and completely with that axiom this book might never mean much of anything to you. On the other hand, if you already know, all too well, the 'death' is just a transformation in consciousness, and have absolutely no fear of death, it is likely you passed through the first portal of material irrelevance, having embarked on what is truly interesting and lasting in life.If the siren calls of Power, money, career, or conformity drive your consciousness, then don't waste your time on this marvelous book because it will disappoint and be left sitting on a book shelf collecting dust. This is a book for doers, not talkers. It will take you deep in the inner realms asking questions you may not want to hear the answers. In other words: if you pick up the praxis of this book, you may never be the same again. It may lead you to a destination you had no idea existed.Coyote is still out there, and he or she is still hungry.

If you can only buy one book on self-empowerment / manifesting, this is it
This book is jam packed with a lifetime's discovery - the footnotes at the bottom give you other books to read on those topics which you would like to explore even more. It's a workbook to improve your life. That sounds so trite. But this book is a distillation of the ideas of many books, workshops and practices the author explored.Sometimes we have to live on a budget and cannot buy every book on our Amazon Wish List. If you have a long Wish List of self-improvement, manifesting, healing, or dowsing books, and can only get one, then this will get a you a lot of book for your bucks. There was an online discussion group mentioned in the beginning of the book, but I never could find it. If it does exist, I hope someone will post a link or name for it.

I like the tone of the author (he seems like someone ...
There is so much information in this book! Unfortunately, the editing makes it a little difficult to get through. It can be all over the place, and the footnotes of varying type sizes don't make the reading much easier. I like the tone of the author (he seems like someone I would like to learn more from), but perhaps later editions could benefit from less footnotes and better organization.

Amazing
There is so much info here. I just open the book to see what info I need for the day. It's a great way to help learn to open your mind, and change the language used for a long time.I love it.

Almost exactly the same as Dowsing and Manifesting by Henry Dowser, almost word for word
I think the book is a good book, but it is the same book as Dowsing and Manifesting by Henry Dowser. Just a few words have been changed here and there. This should be in the description so that people don't end up ordering the same book twice. I'm very disappointed. I have to deal with returning one of them, I wouldn't have ordered one of them if I had known.

very good
This is an interesting book. It has what must be the most extensive simple, easy to read description of Quantum Mechanics I've ever seen, which is a useful but not essential basis for the subject. The section on dealing with limiting beliefs is extremely thorough, as it should be, as the book Busting Loose From the Money Game: Mind-Blowing Strategies for Changing the Rules of a Game You Can't Win notes, but doesn't really cover in sufficient detail. Bill must have collected every manifesting method there is, because he compares them, in this. He makes a point I've not really seen elsewhere: you end up with a successful manifesting method by finding out what works for you. What works for you might not be someone else's single formula. There are ideas on working with groups, to manifest, which is interesting, because I've read of both Celts and Native Americans doing this. There is also no filler in this book, which is interesting, the author seems to have culled out the excess language one can find in books such as Amazing Secrets of Psychic Healing , which is good, but twice as long as it needed to be. This book is mostly how-to, with enough theory to support that. There is very little history, well there are plenty of other books on that, which are very short on how-to. I gave a copy of this book to a teacher of mine, and sent another copy to my alma mater's library. Most books one reads on this subject top out maybe around 150 pages. This one is double that, and it is packed with detail. Also the language is easy to read, the author seems to have picked the simplest word. I have read many books, in the field, none of them have as much practical stuff between two covers as this one does. If you want other books, which aren't as detailed, try Secrets of Shamanism: Tapping the Spirit Power Within You , You the Healer: The World-Famous Silva Method on How to Heal Yourself and Others which is a 40 day course on becoming a healer- it works very well with this book, Urban Shaman , which is a nice supplement to this book; Theta Healing: Introducing an Extraordinary Energy Healing Modality , another nice supplement; this book has ways to get around the limits of Vianna's TH morphic field. The Secret Science Behind Miracles is useful, but not enough how to for me to figure it out. Secrets of Ancient Hawaiian Huna Vol. 1 by Tad James, which doesn't seem to be on Amazon any more, is also useful for history particularly. There is a strong tone of service to humanity in this book, with no descriptions of how to harm others. I like that. There is a bit on defense, which is mainly cleaning out low grade belief systems, etc. of course. This book was developed from The Key to The Secret: How to Manifest from the Heart , with a more shamanic focus. It does not have the second volume, on Quantum of ...: A Book of Quantum Noticings , associated with it. Another take on the same subject is present in The Future Is Yours: Do Something About It! .
