CO2 Generator for Plants Aquarium DIY CO2 Kit Pressurized Injection System with Bubble Counter Full Metal

I've been using it in my aquarium for about 3 months now and it works perfect, pressure gets a little high after some weeks but is when the Citric Acid is almost gone, still not in a dangerous pressurization, the plants have grow nicely, this method is way much better than the yeast one, you have better control on the amount of CO2 you are throwing to your tank, you can turn it off without having extra pressure. The only thing that could be complicated is measuring the baking soda and citric acid, you'll need a precise scale for it.

I purchased the CO2 kit and solenoid around Jan 2020. Up until about a month ago, the DIY kit was working well. Then the solenoid stopped working. I'm not sure if the valve was stuck or if the solenoid is broken. And today, I noticed that I lost pressure in the bottles. There was a leak by the bottle A cap and when I unscrewed it to check, I found the tube had corroded away fairly significantly (see pictures). I followed the directions and used the correct materials and measurements. I know this was a low cost option but I expected it to last at least a year. Very disappointed.

The valve below the bubbler that you adjust the CO2 output leaks air. I've replaced the gasket with all the ones it comes with and even went to several hardware stores to try other gaskets.... it does not hold pressure....unfortunately unless I received a bad product....it does not work, very dissapointed.**update:** returned the product. New one came with similar items. Found a leak at the bubbler with soapy water. . .added a gasket. System works amazing. It takes a few batches of citric acid and baking soda to get the pressures to become regulated to perfection....but once you get it...its somewhat easy to regulate....and part of the fun is the science. Nice invention..tons of trial and error on this though.....frustrating and fun.....

Although the solenoid item wasn't included and I found out after my order was received. It is my opinion that the description call out "Full aluminum alloy main body design with hard oxidation treatment, alloy bottle caps avoid from bursting, safe and durable. 12V waterproof solenoid valve(not included in this Kit, optional purchase), completely avoid to the electric shock danger, you also can use it in synchronization with lights by the timer" should have been more apparent, perhaps recommending you BOLD the text AND state it isn't available for Prime. I ordered it to find now that it is ONLY available for standard shipping and will now take 4-6 weeks for delivery. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I would NOT have bought this if I knew it took 4-6 weeks to get something I initially expected to be part of it. You should have been clearer on both the delivery and option. Also you had a picture of a J connection piece with a round diffuser in the picture and should have been clearer on both the delivery and option.

Received item and works great!Remember to add water to bubble counter.Note: Magnet does not come with item.Here is email from seller:We do not attach magnet in this kit, it is clearly described on the product page.There is trim valve (switch) at the end of "B" part, close the valve, the acid will not inject into soda bottle to generate Co2.The main usage of lift floater is avoid you turn on the trim valve too large to inject the too much acid into soda bottle in short time. Turn on the trim valve on B part carefully, you will not need the lift floater. For insurance purposes, you also can use magnet.Our product has a safety valve on "A" part, it has automatic/manual pressure relief function when pressure is too high, it guarantee the bottle safe.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the regulator does not seem to work. Came with plenty of tubing.

Decidí comprar este producto tras fallar muchas veces con el CO2 presurizado. A pesar de tener una bombona de 20oz de paintball, esta no me duraba mucho y además es difícil estar recargando.Por ello decidí comprar este sistema. Lo recibí a tiempo y es de muy buena calidad. Si se siguen las instrucciones tendrás un C02 muy barato y que dura mucho.Consejos para no morir en el intento:1. Usar los productos y medidas tal como lo indican las instrucciones.2. Si no se llega a la presión deseada con las manos, lo que yo hago es buscar algún lugar para majar la botella con el pie.3. La primera vez que lo use, me duro 2 semanas corriendo 24/7. (No quiero cambios de presión al cerrar la llave, por lo tanto, lo dejo corriendo de noche).4. Por la seguridad de los peces, saco el difusor de noche, para evitar cualquier cambio de presión y por consiguiente de PH.

The CO2 injector looks great and well-made but the gauge never worked on mine, the bubble counter was very cheap (after adding water the threads stripped on the cap with very little pressure), and it had a leak somewhere I could never find or fix. I replaced all my tubing and CO2 diffuser, made sure the gaskets were in place with no damage, even removed the bubble counter that came with it and my solenoid to make sure they were not the source of the leak. Still leaked and I have now given up on it. Don't waste your money.
