Dog Head Collar with Leather Decoration, Head Collar for Small Medium Large Dogs Walking

Worried about durability for long term as the medium fits my 60 lb dog. They are not super wide straps.He has become obstinate on walks where he will turn away from me and use his full body to force me forward... with a metal pronged collar. I hate that collar but I have worked with him for almost 2 years not to pull and he won't stop.He certainly does not like this but it stopped his bad behavior mentioned above immediately as he realized there was no where in 360 turns he could do his maneuver without a corrective move. He also recently started pulling when another dog walked by. This was not something he did before the puppy.Bad thing is the puppy I recently got has picked up his habit of turning and full body pull... got one for her too but she flipped out I don't like using this. I took it off of her and am going to try the treat method for her first.I hope this is not something I have to use long term for walks.*** Update***The clasp beneath the chin sometimes opens but rarely and the thin band does adjust too easily but so far it has not ripped or fallen apart.It is still holding up. My dog still kind of pulls but this is the best solution as of yet.

First, this is a great product. A little thin for a medium sized dog, but for my beautiful pup it works really well for as long as it stays on.Problem is more with my dog than the product. McKinley's snout is like a sperm whale, nice and big on top, itty-bitty underneath, so the strap keeps slipping off. While she has it on, it's enough of a distraction to make walking pleasant.If there was a strap from the bottom of the strap to the collar it would work.Another odd thing is that this one smallish in width but has the clamp. The other one by the same manufacturer is wider and more substantial without the clamp so it doesn't work again for the same reasons.

My 12yo border collie has always been a farm dog and now we are in suburbia with a fenced in backyard. I've tried taking her for walks a couple times and she practically chokes herself trying to run after squirrels and such. In classic border collie style, she also tries to circle the family the whole time we're out on a hike or walk. So there's been so much pulling and I felt bad for her.This product has made it easy and enjoyable for both us and our dog to go on walks and hikes.It was tricky at first learning how to put this on her but once you do it and get the adjustments right, it's easy. Our dog now recognises the head collar as a family walk and gets pretty excited when she sees it.As far as customer service, I originally ordered a small and it JUST fit her but was too tight. I contacted the company as per their instructions and they sent out a medium in the same colour for her which is a much better fit. They said to give away the small and we donated it to our local humane society as I am sure they have dogs that pull there and will put the smaller collar to use. It was probably the easiest return/exchange process I've ever dealt with.

The muzzle is definitely good quality for its price. It is just like the pictures(made of soft material, fits the shape of my dog's snout perfectly) We used our dog's exact measurements to choose size. The head straps also fit her well, although we had to extend it to its max length, so if she was a bit bigger then it might have been too tight. After all, definitely go by the exact dog's measurements, and you'll be happy with the product!

My GSD is a 75lb female tank. We went through training and multiple different types of collars with no change. She would try to drag us down the road. My wife was afraid to take her for walks. Since we received a tip from a friend to try this lead we have been smooth sailing. It does take practice/training with rewards but if directions are followed this should help. It’s worth a try. Do not use choke collar! It can damage your dog’s throat!!!

It works great. My dog no longer pulls on the leash. I took off the leash extender that it came with and hooked the leash to the head collar and his normal collar, which stopped him from being able to pull it off his snout so easily. My only complaint is that the adjustable mechanism is so easily adjustable that even my dog can loosen it, and if I accidentally bump it when I'm putting it on him, it will also loosen. I put a little piece of duct tape on it and now it works great!

I measured my dog following the directions. According to my measurements, the halter should have fit my dog (a mini labradoodle) with a little room to spare. Turns out, the halter is too small. You might want to revisit the measuring directions so that your customers can make a more accurate choice.

It's a quality muzzle for our little German Sheperd, not very tight nor very loose. Using this muzzle, we can ensure our daughter is always safe in the yard.
