Rusted Immediately
The jars are pretty, but the lids worry me. After one night, after processing, several rings have rust. I'm definitely not happy about that. It's hard to send my canned goods as gifts with the trust of my friends and family that I'm not going to kill them accidentally when there's rust present and obvious. I'm hoping that the seals and jars are of better quality. This really has me thinking I'll pay extra and just buy Ball brand.

Jars were fine. The rings didn't fit properly.
The little jars were just what I wanted for filling with specialty jellies for Christmas. Unfortunately, the rings they came with should be ditched. They were hard to screw in place and fit so badly that about a third of the seals failed. I can't speak about the quality of the lids on the seals that failed because they were "stuck" in the badly fitting rings and got bent when I pried them out. I replaced them with other rings (and new lids) I have which fit the jars just fine and sealed with no problemBottom line is the price would have to be way better than this for me to buy them again. Why pay for rings that are worthless?

Bottoms of 5 broke upon 1st use!
I was thrilled when I first got the jars and impressed that every jar was bubble wrapped. However upon 1st use making egg bites in 12 jars, 5 of the 12 broke in the water. The bottoms of 5 completely fell out!

Not suitable for jarring
While these jars looked the part and the glassware stood up to the heat of sterilizing, the lids on these jars will not properly tighten due to what I suspect are misaligned threads (the lids will twist endlessly). Two lids came off entirely during my canning water bath, and because of that I don't trust the seal, if any, on the remaining jars.

So cute!
I used these for little dessert treats for a party. They were perfect. I’m assuming everyone already does this, but make sure you wash them before using them. Although none of them were broken or chipped at all (they were packed really well), one of them had a piece of broken glass in it. So, in case you were thinking of skipping the washing and just using them, don’t.

Just be careful
Everything was good except the rings. The rings were poorly fitting, sometimes unable to screw down all the way properly until bent and flexed a bit. A few had rust spots, but only 3 in the box and they were small.Quite a few lids did not seal after canning jams because the rings were not holding them down evenly. I just replaced those with my own rings.I would still buy them again, for the sale price, but knowing I'll probably need to replace some rings before using them.

40 lids no adhesive. Manufacturing defect or not really intended for use in canning
I bought these to can small quantities of food items, and right out of the box, I was suspect. The lids didnt look right, like there was no adhesive. Being an off brand, I decided to give them a go anyway. Wasted relish batch. No adhesive so after using a water bath the seal was non-existent. Glad I only used 8 out of the 40 that came in the box. These will only be suitable for dried goods and the only reason I gave them any stars was because they are at least easy on the eyes and handy for spices. Misleading advert or manufacturing defect but certainly not suitable for water bath or pressure cooker food preservation use

Not enough thread to give a good seal
I used these jars for canning strawberry preserves. The thread on the jar isnt enough to get a good seal. I lost several jars when i went to boil the jars. They look cool/cute, but I'm going back to Ball, Mason, Anchor you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. Good luck canning.
