I wanted to like them, however BOTH pair had the same issue
I ordered two pair of these. One in the blue lens and one in the grey. I wanted to like them, however BOTH pair had the same issue. The left arm on each pair was not symmetrical with the right (See Pics). When laid on a flat surface, the frames were level but the left arms stood up a few centimeters from the right. Because of this, when worn they sat on the face at a very noticeable and uncomfortable slant. It did not look like hinges were misaligned as when the arms were folded out they were flush with the frame. I think the titanium arms were just not molded correctly. I gave them 2 stars because the lens did seem clear (for the short time I tried them on) and I they do have a nice weight to them with the frame and titanium build. But for the price, the quality control should be better. I could say maybe I just got one lemon but seeing as I ordered two different pairs in different lenses and they both had the same issue so I don't know. I returned both pairs. Maybe Id try the "Hook" models if they were discounted and check them out and hopefully have a better experience. Like I said, I really like the styles and concept William Painter offers.

Uneven
Not the BEST quality. Now that doesnt mean its not GOOD quality, but I have a lot of good sunglasses already and I was really looking for something better than good. All the materials used feel very premium amd well made. UNFORTUNATELY, the arms are off. I saw another reviewer mention this, with pictures showing one of the arms off the table because it's not screwed at the same angle as the other one. At first I thought it's really not a big deal, since it's gonna be on my face most of the time and not on the table. However, I was looking at my rear-view mirror one day and I realized that because of its design, any flaw in the angle is obvious. It has a flat bridge design, hence the name "Level". But to pull off that look, the sunglasses ALSO need to be levelled. Since the arms are not screwed at the same angle as the other, the flat top draws a slanted horizon across my face. As a result, 2/3 my left eyebrow is showing while about 1/3 of my right eyebrow shows. This is enough of a difference that I'm not gonna want to wear it to anyplace where I'd want to impress people... especially when I have other sunglasses that are finely crafted.Overall good quality, but the design highlights the flaws too much.

Needs better coating on lens
Not for me the back of the lens was very reflective and distracting. The metal was a nice touch but was a bit to hard for me. Returned them

Best Shades I Have EVER Owned. Hands down.
Best Shades I Have EVER Owned. Hands down.First off, I bought these when William Painter was doing a lightning deal through Amazon for right around $100 which was a very good price. Still at $165 I would definitely buy these sun glasses. I've owned a few different pairs of Ray Bans (Wayfarer and Aviators) but the quality of The Level is outstanding.I waited about a month before writing a review because normally within a few days of owning a new pair of shades, something happens where one of my kids knocks them off my head and they are instantly scratched on the lens/arms. Of course, no different with this pair were they knocked off my head and onto the cement but to my surprise, NO scratch on the lens and NO scratch on the arm. The feel of these guys is pure strength. No joke when they say Titanium grade. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these glasses. 5/5 for sure.I was unsure of the look when I first purchased these shades, but upon opening the box and throwing them on, all my doubts were gone. Have had several people complement them and ask about where I got them. I use them every day and after a month they still look brand new. 5/5 for style. Finally, have to give these guys props for the lens. After a month of daily use, no scratches. Very good quality and very strong feel to the glass. These are not cheaply made glasses. You definitely get every cent you pay for with these guys. Also, customer service seems to be great. Haven't had any first hand experience but received an email from the owner of the company and $25 off towards my next order with the promise of writing a review. Have to give William Painter a 5/5 and definitely will be buying another pair in the future.

Heavy, water residue and painful
An expensive sunglasses.Pros-1. Fashion, matching current mainstream of design.2. Advantages of material, based on their videos.3. Marketing videos are at high exposure rate so I get to see it and try this never-heard brand.Cons -1. Seiously heavy, you call the advantage only when the material is worthy. But it felt heavier than Titanium and there's noway you bend it. The video is a BS.2. Painful design, you have the end legs of this sunglasses clipping your head so hard that you thought you are going to suffocate.3. Water residue, apparent watermark on the frame, I'm curious if that is a titanium anodized frame why the watermark will be so obvious. I'm in the industry so I know how the result and process goes.4. Very low visibility compares to my current other sunglasses. Even my snowboarding goggles is slightly clearer, I have no idea why maybe it's because of the durable lens (which I have not got a chance to do the reliability test on)?5. The sunglasses are big, but apparently, the coverage of eyesights are insufficient and an aweful angle of lights are coming in at a massive amount.I'd highly recommend NOT to buy this sunglasses. I didn't talk to the seller yet but in a way, this review should be clear there's no need to.
