Breuer Houses

Overwhelmed by formal analysis, much of it highly suspect and exceedingly hard to follow, this book is very difficult to wade through. The author goes to great lengths to disprove the theories of other historians, but fails in his own interpretations by misreading drawings. The attempt to parse the differences between Gropius and Breuer's contributions to their joint practice is particularly misguided, as anyone who has ever worked in an architectural office would understand. I do not recommend this book.

Good photographs, but not enough plans, sections, elevations. The ones that do appear in the book are too small, and also found also some mistakes in printing (left/right - not in correspondence to the photograph) therefor it is difficult to understand the buildings.

Un libreo precioso y muy bien editado. Preferiría que agunos planos fuesen mayores pero está muy bien
