Wii Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat

I use this accessory for "The Cages: Pro Style Batting Practice" and it works great! It has a realistic look to it and is compatible with the motion-plus attachment. It also has a buit-in mirror so that the pointer can be used for the wii menu board. The best part is that it is very durable. I swing very hard and I broke two other wii bats before discovering this bad boy. It doesnt bend or break from swinging for the fences. Its worth a few extra dollars to get this than buying the cheaper bats over and over again.

Kids do not use these as much as I'd thought they would. When playing, and at bat it's great, but they have to take remote out when their team takes the field so my kids find it bothersome to keep taking it in and out of the bat insert.

My son had trouble gettithe hang of the Wii game that goes with this.

My son couldn't get it to work and gave up trying. It seems like the bat portion blocks the beam so that the game doesn't react to all commands. He would swing, but the batter on the screen wouldn't swing. I should have returned it immediately, but we went out of town, and I left it in my trunk.

My grandson loves it for his baseball games. It is also a great teaching tool to show him how to play baseball. He is almost 4 years old and loves the game~

I guess my grandboys love it. They said they do, They live in a different state than me. They are keeping it.

When it has come down to the Nintendo Wii, there honestly haven't been a lot of great accessories that work well with the Wii-mote. This one is honestly one of the with the Wii Louisville Slugger Bat. The design isn't bad, but it can be very bulky, and very rough to play some baseball games with it, like Mario Super Sluggers, which can be very poor in control with, or The Bigs 2. I honestly felt better and more comfortable playing with the Wii-mote alone without the accessory at all. I would honestly and definitely pass this one up. The bat has a kind of periscope to make it work correctly. I was unable to even start a game without even taking the Wiimote out to select. It became very frustrating to use everytime you have to make a selection you have to remove the Wiimote. Dont bother.
