According to someone who repairs lawnmowers the Spirit and the Harrier are two totally different rollers - so I ordered this one with baited breath for my Spirit where the rear roller had disintegrated. I had read a review prior to this which complained that there were no fitting instructions so that also caused a little anxiety. Fitting it was far easier than I anticipated - just remove the single screw from the arm leading to the roller, lift off the cover and the roller is held in with two crossheaded screws on either side - with these removed the roller can be simply taken out (just watch how many washers there are on each side and make sure you look where the square key pin fits) - I did mine in under fifteen minutes! My lawnmower man tells me the Spirit is a budget version and goes through front wheels on a regular basis. Fair do's I fitted two new wheels earlier this year and now the rear roller (both purchased from Amazon) and it is like a new mower once again (It is actually six years old) so it is still cheaper than buying the Harrier which I was told has a stronger axle through the middle!!!

Perfect product - just took forever to come
Rarely do I moan about a slow delivery but this one I had to chase up. Not impressed! The roller is perfect though, once you work out how to fit it.

original quality
Not yet fitted but it looks identical to the original before I broke it, I shall be careful when pushing the mower around in future as I think bumping it up into my shed caused the damaged

Awkward to fit but does the job
Perfect replacement, luckily there was a u-tube video explaining how to remove and refit the roller which saved a lot of head scratching with odd number of washers on each end!!Great service. Well wrapped and arrived ahead of ETA.
