Love the Season

This DVD is filled with pure awesome! It has something for the men and the women! Not made for children, but good television viewing at its finest for adults. Kevin Costner is outstanding as a Ranch owner, John Dutton. Cole Hauser is awesome in his role as Rip Wheeler who is John Dutton's right hand man! Luke Grimes plays Kayce Dutton, who is John Dutton's son and a ranch hand. Wes Bentley plays Jamie Dutton, who is John Dutton's son and an attorney and wants to be a politician and for now is helping out at the ranch. Kelly Reilly plays Beth Dutton, who is John Dutton's daughter and Rip Wheeler's love interest. Beth is not intimidated by any man or woman and man does she put people in their place! Good cast, good storyline, not old time western it is more of a modern day western with lots of action and adventure. The eye candy in this show does not disappoint either!

Love this show!!! I am familiar with the Montana territory and beautiful scenery. The cast and crew have done an excellant job. For those not familiar, it's a modern western shot in Utah and various parts of Montana. It tells a story - one of history of the real west. It's packed full of ever changing events in the life of the Dutton Family & their Ranch which borders Yellowstone National Park. It's got a little of everything for everyone in it. If you like westerns, adventure, drama, action then Yellowstone is for you. It's a series that captures your every sense from one time to another throughout. There are also some dreamy cowboys to boot!! It's for mature audiences and includes some language, sex, and nudity.

Both seasons one and two are so wonderful! After watching the series on just regular TV...I could NOT get enough and just HAD to buy the "uncut version , minus all those commercials(lol)...I was NOT disappointed! There is so "much more detail and you get to "understand more" about each character...what "makes them tick, especially "Beth" and even "Jamie"...Whats behind their "love hate sibling relationship...And Rip..."OMG! what a man!...rough on the outside, but caring and tender....I actually got "so involved" in the story...I would feel my heart hurt at times....I even would "re see the story in my dreams going to sleep that night I would watch a few episodes...lol...So much Depth...This IS A CLASSIC...BUY IT!...I am just hoping that after 2 GREAT seasons, the writer/producer doesn't mess up as so many "other TV series that went past season 2 did(example, the "Nashville series")...I believe this to be "one of the BEST Kevin Costner productions...He "just gets better and better with age!" Buy it!

時代が100年位逆戻りしてるセッティングかな? 力強くで欲しい物を手に入れるそれができなければ、暴力を行使する。 自分が守る人や物は暴力を行使して、それが殺人で有っても守るの精神はアメリカ的で理解出来るが、余りにも簡単に殺人が行われる。 日本人には理解できない映画です。 ただ西部の自然、モンタナ州、ワイオミング州の町の雰囲気、そこに生きる人々の生活感は伝わっているので、そこを観ると良い映画かな。

A really well written series that just keeps getting better as the story and enemies of John Dutton appear on the scene. I have memorable comparisons with Dallas of old. The sibling rivalry is great.

Kevin Costner is just great in the role of Dutton....makes you want to be part of it all. There is a sense of private justice in this show, the old west meets the new century....I only wish this was available on Canadian TV, and that I did not have to wait until the next season is on DVD
