The build quality is good except the mounting screws which stripped out on mounting. Best if holes are pre-drilled. Design is ok except the light and solar panel themselves are in the way of the angle needed to drive screws into the mounting bracket ...and if you remove the solar panel to get a straight shot at the bracket some very tiny nuts and washers will fall to the ground never to be found. I thought the threads were in the frame as with the light. Not so. Lastly, the solar panel has a daylight on/off sensor in it that turns the light on (if the light switch on the lamp is set to "on") only when the panel is in darkness. This doesn't work for a solar charged light in a dark shed that is dark inside even when it is light outside. The system is designed to be used outside and to automatically come on at dusk and stay on all night.

I bought this to put under my car to keep the packrats away. It is really bright even though it's fairly small. I haven't seen any new activity (though that's hard to know), but it's a lot better than nothing, charges easily during the day, and seems to be working.

I really like this solar light. This is my first time purchasing a solar light. I got it to try out to save money on the electric bill and to make sure that there is always a light on outside even when the power goes out due to a storm. I was a bit concerned at first because the box that the light came in was a little torn but the plastic that the light was wrapped in was intact. The light was very easy to hang and after a full day of charge from the sun has worked perfectly. The company makes one that is a bit bigger than this one - Solar Flood Light Alpha 600X. I will probably replace this one with two of the larger ones for the back yard and use this one in another area. I have not used this light long term but would buy this item again and would recommend it.

Not at all as bright as I thought it would be. Very disappointed

Got this to provide a night light in a house under construction. Has three illumination settings and at the lowest would stay on all night. More than bright enough on high setting, almost a flashlight as the beam will travel out about 25 feet before losing light due to dispersion. Was outdoors but not in the rain. Still going strong after 2 years. Now use it to lite our halloween skeleton.

Great lights all around! Great deals. Came in on time and in great shape. Purchased 9 lights and 1 lasted for 6 months. Crossing my fingers!

Received the light very promptly. We have had rain for the last several days and even when not raining it has been cloudy. The light has worked each and every night since receiving and even on the lowest setting is bright enough . The light has stayed on from darkness to daylight which is nice to look out and feel safe.. I purchased it for outdoor screen room and it works exactly as I had hoped. I like that there is more than one brightness setting as there have times I have used the brighter setting . Highly recommend.

Well I went home to install it and after I let it charge in the sun for about 8 hours.... I hooked it up and it would not work well, I had to disconnect the fitting that goes from the solar panel to the light so that it would work properly. I refuse to send back and wait another 3 weeks for shipment. Will never buy this product again.
