Got Stubborn Stains? OxiClean Saved My Laundry
I just used OxiClean on a really stubborn oil stain on my kid's school uniform, and the results were seriously amazing! I just followed the directions – dissolved the powder in some warm water, let the uniform soak for about 30 minutes, and the oily stain was pretty much completely gone. Made the uniform look bright white again. That active oxygen stuff it uses? It works wonders on blood or juice stains too. You hardly have to scrub at all!Okay, but you gotta be careful about a few things though:* Don't use it on everything. Stuff like wool or silk? Might ruin 'em.* You really need to rinse it out completely. If you leave any residue behind, it could irritate your skin.* Never mix it with bleach. Seriously. Could create harmful fumes. Be safe! So, all in all, OxiClean is a real lifesaver around the house, especially for those nasty, stubborn stains. BUT, and this is important, always make sure you read the instructions before you use it, so you don't mess up your clothes or, you know, cause problems for your health.

A must-have in my cleaning arsenal
Oxiclean has been a great stain eradicator for me for years. People tend to think of it as just for laundry but I use it for cleaning a lot of hard surfaces too. The only issue I've ever had is with the container. When full, the powder can spill out easily and goes everywhere. The lid could use a redesign and that might help. But kudos to whoever designed the "gripper tape" that was holding down the lid when it arrived. Didn't allow a single speck to escape in shipping so I'm hanging on to it for as long as it lasts.

Must have
My favorite and best stain remover. I haven’t found anything near as good. Always have some in the laundry room. I also buy Tide with OxiClean for every day laundry.

Replaced bleach on the washer.
I used to use a little bleach for my whites and kitchen dishcloths to dissenfect and brighten the wash. But Oxi Clean does the job by making everything smell fresh as well as Clean. Very good product!

Coming Clean
OxiClean is a great product. While it has many uses, I prefer to add it to my laundry. The product removes stains and dullness from clothing, towels, and napkins. Whenever I do laundry, I add a scoop, which is probably too much, and then add detergent and rinse aid (no extra rinse). Success! I highly recommend this product.

Product works well but packaging inferior
Oxi Clean works well to minimize stains. However, the container was open when I received it and about 2 cups leaked out into the box and all over my other items in transit. I had to vacuum it up. Will not order Oxi Clean from Amazon again.

Way better than Biz + SoiLove helps a lot
I have used a pre-soak called Biz for probably 40 some years? The last time I bought it, it just didn’t seem to work. So I figured it was old and I bought it again. Nope! Maybe fabrics are different now (you know they are) and Opti-Clean works so much better as a presoak. My only dilemma is after it has soaked for a while, the water looks dirty so I just don’t feel it’s going to be effective to add my Tide to that same water and wash it. Yuk. So what I’ve been doing is after the soak, I put the clothes through the spin cycle to get rid of most of the water. Then I take them out and put them in a plastic laundry basket with a plastic bag in its base. Then I run new water in the washing machine, put the Tide in to dissolve and let it swish around in the “small load” setting on the washing machine. Then I let the machine fill all the way up with water and while that’s happening, I put these pre-soaked items back in the washing machine and shut the lid. And let it run its course. Most of the time the Opticlean gets the dinginess or stains out. If it doesn’t work the first time, I add some SoilLove to the collars, sleeves or specific stains and wait for no longer than two minutes before putting them in the filled washing machine. And then I wash them again. (I have to add that I had a light blue Disney shirt that had been sitting in a box for years and had brown stained sleeves and collar and just looked nasty. The opticlean helped it a lot and the SoiLove brought it home to almost look brand new. Just don’t let SoiLove set on your clothes for more than a couple minutes!
