High Caliber Pipe Target Hanging Hook Assembly Stand - for 1" Pipe

These are very well made, exactly as advertised and the easily fit on 1 inch EMT as illustrated in my photos.I would buy these again if ever needed. I will be shooting at this stuff so damage will probably occur but I can't understand why anyone had problems getting their pipe to fit inside these. My photos include a shot of the Home Depot UPC tag showing it is 1 inch EMT.I purchased a set of hooks and the legs separately. All are included in this review.

The brackets worked extremely well. Used 1inch emt conduct from H.D.(10 foot for 7.50). One of the brackets took a few hits at the range but held up well. Side note: chains longer than 12inches are advised, highly advised when new shooters are with you.This company stands behind their warranty and replaced the damaged one quickly.

I bought this and several from a dyi hook kit on FB. The other kits hooks are AR500 steel and very uniformly cut. This setup is mild steel and very poorly cut/irregular/un-uniform. Also every time I've ever bought hangers they come as a set of 2. So when I placed my order for 2 I assumed I was getting 2 sets. Not so with this seller. I was sent 2 hooks packed together. Somewhat false advertising since the photo shows 4 hooks when I clicked the option for 2 which also lead to my assumption they sold like EVERYONE else sells them in pairs. One star since my search for AR500 hangers brought up these and they're not. One star because of the miss leading photo showing 2 pairs not 2 individual hooks.

I like this system as it lets me use inexpensive and fairly easy to handle steel conduit as the frame. The hooks are a bit wide - they fit into the hole of my steel gongs without allowing any wiggle room, and sometimes the gongs get bound up on the hooks because there is not enough space for them to allow the gong to move freely on the hooks, causing you to have to go downrange to un-bind them. Also - do NOT use these for gongs with only a single attachment point. If you hit such a target on the edge, it will cause the hook to twist and bend the hook. I'm happy with the purchase, though.

Excellent target stand option. Living in Wisconsin has its drawbacks for long range shooting, and sometimes I have to walk the target out. This is a great alternative due to its weight and ease of set up. The stand takes a minute to set up, and doesn't require any tools. I bought three 10 foot sections of EMT eletrical conduit from Menards for $24, and cut them in half for 6, 5 foot pieces. The target is about 22 inches off the ground due to my 18 inch fire hose straps. The legs are on a big angle, and shooting it at 100-600 yards with my 6.5 Creedmoor the stand was very stable. Getting the pieces to sit together is much easier with two people, but with an extra minute is possible with one. The bullet splash doesn't damage the EMT conduit.

Using this product for shooting hanging steel plates makes shooting much more fun and interesting. The brackets are well made and sturdy. Very portable, easy to erect and take down by one person. I used 5 foot long, 3/4" conduit for the legs, and 1" , 6 1/2 foot long conduit for the crossbar. It stands taller with the wider crossbar and the plate hooks fit great. Very sturdy, stable in the wind, it didn't seem to move at all when hitting the plates using 9 mm, 38 spec, 45, 357, or 10 mm. I used 5' legs because those came precut from Home Depot but you could use longer if you want the plates higher. A 3/4" crossbar worked fine but that diameter required the legs to be angled out more which lowered the crossbar too much IMO. I hung a combination of 8, 6" and 8" plates and the 1" crossbar didn't sag at all because of the weight. I did order extra plate hooks separately to be able to hang more plates.

Overpriced, cut crooked. Says will fit 1 inch pipe, but there are welds or metal bumps that wont let a 1 inch pipe fit. Plus the holes are oval... Annoying I buy something then have to work on it myself to make it fit.

The item description leads you to believe that these will fit on a 1 inch pipe or EMT. The ring opening diameter is quite irregular and requires significant filing or grinding to allow 1 inch pipe or EMT which both have ODs greater than 1 inch. I would have purchased three-quarter inch pipe has significant cost savings had I known.
