Different from the rest.
According to Amazon.com release dates within 30 days of each other Audio adrenalin released two different albums. DON'T CENSOR ME -DCM- was first followed by the self titled album AUDIO ADRENALIN -AA-. They are both of a different style. DCM is more of a pop rock style, while with AA they seemed to try a rap-rock combo that I for one am glad they abandoned. In reality AA was released in 1992 according to other sources and DCM was their second album, released in 1993.What does it say when the band released their greatest hits, to date, with HIT PARADE in 2001 they included only one song, DC-10 from AA. And this song was redone and put on their later album UNDERDOG. Funny that a song I rate a 2 on a 5 scale appears on 3 of their albums.. must be a story there!?I recommend the AA album only for collectors because if you love Bloom, Lift, Some Kind of Zombie and Worldwide, you will probably not care for it. This album is a very different style from what will come. Listen to Amazons clips and decide for yourself if you like the style that the band abandoned.Praise the Lord that the group made the DCM album. I like it much better, and there may have never been a third album without DCM. For the penny wise I recommend getting HIT PARADE instead. You'll want to save your money and buy all 4 albums that follow, they are all outstanding, with WORLDWIDE one of my favorite albums of any genre. At this writing some of my favorite albums of all time include Led Zeppelin's first, Skillet's INVINCIBLE, Newsboys SHINE THE HITS and Audio Adrenalin's WORLDWIDE.

Audio Adrenaline’s DNA: Boldly Christian Guys Having FUN!
I believe a band usually finds itself somewhere in the second album it creates and that the magic of that self-discovery, that settling in to who they’ll become, confidently draws listeners. I watched that happen with this band. I owned this first album (1992, not 1995), went to a Christian college, and met tons of people who knew Audio A but had no idea this album existed. They only knew Audio A from ‘Big House’ (Don’t Censor Me & the Bootleg album).Yet it’s in this first album that Audio A laid out the DNA for the self-discovery trip. These boys were going to be Christian and have FUN! I mean, anyone who throws “Scooby Doo” and “Barney Fife” into their lyrics is not taking himself too seriously.Did they find their sound here? Not at all. In fact ‘DC-10’ is the closet they got to playing their future rock and roll goof-off songs. But tracks like ‘J-E-S-U-S is Right’ and ‘Audio World’ lyrically foreshadow the band’s long standing mission to engage a crowd in taking the message of Christ beyond themselves. Will this Audio A grow into a band that takes a stand with songs like ‘We’re a Band’ (Don’t Censor Me & Audio Adrenaline Live Bootleg)? Listen to the completely-non-politically-correct ‘My God’ and you’ll get a resounding “Yes.”As you listen, be willing to laugh. These boys (remember, they were young) were just having a good time!In the end, it gets three stars. "It's okay" for the general public. Collectors interested in AA's beginning might like it all.

An Absolute Classic- Audio A's best cd by far.
If you are a Christian and always wanted a cd to help you get back on the right with Jesus, this cd may be for you. Musically, it is the most diverse Audio Adrenaline cd ever(and probably will ever be) with everything from the funky bass lines of "J.E.S.U.S. Is Right" to the techno-oriented "Revolution" to the speed-metal of "DC-10". There is even a gospel choir that comes out of nowhere on "My God." The guitar riffs of Audio A's original guitarist Barry Blair add to the spontaneity of the music. The lyrics of songs such as "Audio World" talk about Christians' reluctance to speak the good news about Jesus despite a secular society that speak up more about their own beliefs that are void of Jesus. "The Most Excellent Way" speaks about the importance of loving other people despite how difficult this is at times. "Life" talks about how hard life is in general and how is it made easier if the love of Jesus is in one's heart. Yes, this cd really does demonstrate Audio A's love of Jesus. It has a "garage" feel to it and has remained a favorite cd of mine since I bought it two years ago. A definite must buy!

Great, original Audio A!
This album is great for a long-time audio a fan, or a fan of hard Christian music. Sure, it's not my favorite Audio A album, but it definitely deserves at least 4 and a half stars (maybe not five, but i round up). (Note: Being a long-time Audio A fan contributes to my rating. If I'd never heard them before, I'd probably give them a three. But the more I hear it, the better it sounds!)

The birth of Audio A.
OK OK, so this album can be a little weird in some songs. (Lack of instruments, just singing) But it is a very cool CD, and these guys did very well for their first album.

Complete Garbage
the only way to describe this cd is to call it a total piece of garbage. this band cant rock and they cant rap .. corny lyrics that reminds me of why I use to hate Christian bands. by the time I was done lisetning to it I was so ready to just smash it to pieces and throw it in the trash.. what a piece of garbage cd.
