works great
Two of my fish who are over five years old developed a cottony growth on their skin. My very large silver dollar even had some tissue around his mouth eating away. I ordered this online, hoping it would get here in time. It arrived on the day specified. It's been less then twelve hours since I added the first dose and the silver dollar is already showing signs of improvement. Although he was still eating, today he is eating with much more energy and swimming much better. The other unharmed fish are not bothered by the meds. It does turn the water green, and says may stain your rocks etc, but really who cares if you love your fish. I did find this at walmart right after I ordered online. Less than four dollars but was only a 5 pack. So I paid roughly the same for ordering online for one pack as I would have 2 at walmart. However, I was unable to get to walmart right away when I needed it I also like ordering online as you can read the reviews. Just letting you know this because if your fish are in bad shape and you can't wait for it to be delivered I would go to walmart.

Saved my fish!
My salt-and-pepper cory, Dewey, had a bad case of fin rot from a bacterial infection that also gave way to an opportunistic fungal infection. His poor tail was just a stump. After a course of antibiotics, I did a full water change on his hospital tank and started him on this treatment. He took about 2 weeks afterwards to slowly get back into being his usual active self, but now he's right back to zipping around the tank foraging for scraps and his tail fin is even growing back. This stuff really works!

Green kool aid!
This stuff is way too strong for the dose I put 1 pack in my 20 gallon and it looked like the the hulk peed in my tank... half the recommend dose will do for anyone as I started see some of my fish acting very strange. Never had this from any other api product. And I have used all, with this one now. Did a 50 % water change the next day, even with that my tank still looks like a someone poured the inside of green glow sticks in my take. My fish may look like there partying, but if you can avoid puttting in your main take. Then I would highly recommend using a small quarantine tank as it’s going to take a few water changes to get nuclear green out of your tank. Will update on progress with use of this med

MIRACLE for my angelfish!
I was away from home for 4 days and came back to sick fish last Saturday. I first used remedies I had on hand for bacterial infections and did a 1/3 water change, changed all filter material etc. but they remained weak and showed some fungus spots. One fish was laying on her side on the bottom for those 2 days. These were babies I had raised from over a year ago so it was breaking my heart to see them sick. I remembered using something from API that helped once before and ordered two boxes of this. It came a day earlier than I expected even, and just in time. I used the dosage in the directions Monday night and came home Tuesday night to all my fish swimming around already - including my girl who was laying on the bottom. I was afraid I was going to have to bury her, I was so happy! I will do the second dose tonight and I am sure they will be fine. (This teaches me not to put off water changes, I think that is how they got sick. Should have done it the week before I left.) The water turns a bright green when you use this remedy. I imagine that will go away eventually, but I will get to enjoy watching my fish swimming around in it for now. Thank you API and Amazon!

Awesome Product for Bettas newly affected by fungus.
I would say that if you have a Betta who is in the early stages of fungal infection, you've got a cure. One day my Betta was fine, the next day I noticed an odd, cottony mass on his tail . I read all of the reviews for another product , "Betafix" that I was considering. I received a few responses to my question of whether or not this was a good product for what I was describing. I decided against it. The responses I received mentioned that the tea tree oil in Betafix would coat my Betta's Labyrinthe organ and suffocate him. Upon one reccomendation of API fungus cure I decided to try it. I also removed all driftwood, decaying plants, and rocks which could harbor bacteria and/or fungus. The most difficult part of the application was that each packet treats 10 gallons, so for my 3 gal. tank, I had to measure and weigh the correct amount, which was a scant 1/8th tsp. ( about 3/4). After the 1st application, I didn't notice any change for 24 hours, then , I looked at my Betta, and the cottony mass was gone! I did the 2nd application as recommended, and the 25% water change. I think that the negative reviews were related to tetras ( which don't seem to tolerate the fungus cure ), and Bettas that had been allowed to go to long with fungal issues and fin & tail rot.
