good for privacy
We bought these curtains to go on my daughters cute little french doors. The doors are smaller, about 24in wide each. I didn't want shear curtains so I browsed around til I saw these. I saw in the comments that you should get double the curtain width as your door to give it the pleated look so instead of getting the 25"Wide I got the 54"W. It worked out perfectly. The curtains are heavy duty yet soft and not see through at all. Also, you have to buy the rods separate. Here are the ones I ordered- "5/16-Inch Swivel End Sash Curtain Rods - 2 Rods - 21 - 38 Inch Adjustable Width, White with Nickel Ends"

Perfect if you want natural light AND privacy and are sick of curtains getting in way of door
I wanted privacy curtains for my patio doors, but I also wanted something that let the light in as well as didn't get caught in my door every time we open and shut the door to go onto the deck. We used to have a curtain rod installed above the doors but it was such a nuisance to try to get those curtains out of the way and they constantly got caught in the door. This is perfect because at night I can take the clasp off and shut them and nobody can see in, and then in the morning I can clasp them and let in the natural light.

Worked nicely
I bought these to replace one's I made myself years ago to cover clear leaded panes in our front door. I measured 39 inches for the required length and bought the 40 inch length curtains. The actual length was shorter and I had to use the lowest point to thread the rod. The material was quite heavy but definitely is blackout which is what I wanted for privacy. The color was a nice wine color. I didn't need the tiebacks but they were nice.

Excellent for the price
For the price these are amazing. Look the same front and back, and while they are not truly blackout, they provide opaque privacy for a flex space room that is occasionally used as a guest room. I find the tie backs a bit too large for the size, they tend to slip down... I don't use them, so no big deal to me.

OMG GREAT!
So OOOPS on me! Apparently I can not read or measure!First of all when I opened the package... the fabric was soft and THICK! I loved them!Second I went to hang them up... and they were way tooooo short! I checked the package... remeasured the curtain and the window... I had not measured the window correctly!I had already fallen in LOVE with the color and the fabric... so I was not going to send them back! I ripped out the hems and re-sewed them! Perfect fit!I hung them up - in the sky light windows... my bedroom is a loft... and the summer sun KILLS me! Well they turned my bedroom into a cave... and I actually slept an hour later than normal because my room was so dark!LOVE THESE CURTAINS!

LOVE these curtains, BUT...
I would have given 5 stars, but...curtains were TOO SHORT! Just by about an inch. They're about 39", and I needed a good 40". Not going to go to the trouble of tearing out the hem, and re-sewing them OR returning. So I was unable to use the bottom rod, and had to leave the curtain free flowing. Now the tieback slips off, and the loose curtain gets caught in the opened or closed door! The color was also different in person than pictures. More of a work uniform medium khaki color. Not a bad color, but I wanted a little something closer to the picture, softer and less "industrial".However, the material is thick and quality. I like the silky feel and look (besides the off color) and they really do block out light and are great for privacy, all at an excellent price! I bet they wash well, too, although I haven't done that yet.All in all, a great buy, especially if you can live with them being too short!

Great for the price
Please understand that these won’t block 100% of the light from behind. They do a great job of cutting out the blinding sunlight, but you will still see some light. They keep the room cooler and look really good. If you want 100% blackout in a curtain, you will be very disappointed in your search. Get blackout cellular shades with a “solar” foil lining from Hunter Douglas if you want to block out every ounce of light. Curtains won’t do it, they sit too far out from the window and let light leak in. I’m very happy with these though, a great product at a great price!

4.5 stars...loses half star only because color is more blue than green and brighter than expected
The quality of these drapes is absolutely top notch. They do a good job on being thermal, as they cut down the hot sun effect in our kitchen greatly. My husband and I suspect that the kitchen/dining area is a good three degrees cooler on the hot days so our air conditioning isn't having to work so hard. The quality of the fabric is really nice and sturdy, and it has a pretty soft feel to it. The color leans more to a greenish blue than a bluish green and is on the brighter side of the color spectrum. So it doesn't match our room colors as well as I had hoped, but it is the closest I have been able to find, and the quality is wonderful. By quality alone, they are five star. Color is 4 stars because it is not quite what I thought. But overall, these are an easy 4.5 stars.
