Really cute book!
Had to get this book just for the fact that my daughter's name is Aliza ;)Nice premise, teaches about seeing boredom in a different light, being happy with what you have and helping out.

Wonderful for little princesses
This was one of my 4 year-old's, and now my 3 year-old's favorite books. We are observant, but by no means frum. This book has a wonderful secular theme ("stop pouting and start helping!") that is so important for all the little princesses we are raising today. The snappy rhymes, cheerful tone, and female main character make this book perfect for little girls. We love the illustrations, and my girls always want to find the mitzvot on each page. This has definitely served as a jumping-off point for many family discussions. Personally, I wish the specific mitzvot were a touch more "diversity friendly;" that is, "love other people" instead of "love your fellow Jew." It would be easier to take into my kids' classes.Beautiful Job, Bracha, from one Harvard grad to another! More books please (there are so few for little girls!)

Great story
My daughter loves the story in this book. Aliza learns that helping out is more fun than being bored at home.
