Curious George Swings into Spring [DVD]

My 13 month old great granddaughter watches George on PBS at my house every morning. I got her this for her 1st birthday & she watches it in their car!

This movie was extragagent!! Can we talk about Hundley's story arc? Talk about character development!! Amazing film, would watch a hundred times. Allie was a little annoying, as per usual, but it's okay. I mean, how can you get Herbert Neninger wrong? All the movie needs is a little Passover. I think the doorman and Lydia have chemistry. I'm going to go get tested for spring fever now!!!Yay Hundley :)

My children are in 4th and 5th grades now, and they've left behind all of the PBS favorites (so sad!)--but they still love Curious George. When they were pre-schoolers, they would count down the days until spring, and then they would lament that George did not have a "swings into summer" movie! Now that they're older, I still plan a night where we watch this movie (I usually record it on the DVR), and we do pizza or cupcakes or popcorn--something special. This year PBS isn't showing it in the foreseeable future, so I ordered the DVD from Amazon (great price). I also bought Curious George plates and decorations from Party City. They may decide at any time that "George is for babies" so I'm embracing this fun spring tradition as long as I can!

I'm dreading the day my girls get too old to watch Curious George. We love the show and every movie that's come out, including this one. Just a fun, easy to watch movie for toddler/preschool children. It entertains my girls enough for me to get some work done without interruptions!

Curious George, catchy tunes, a nice story, and a salute to spring. What more could you want. We have literally watched this a hundred times in our house with three kids. It was a favorite of our oldest when he was younger and now our littlest enjoys it. The fact that the eight year old doesn't complain too badly when we put it on is a testament to its enjoy-ability.

It's Curious George! What else do I need to say!?

A great show, but not nearly as good as A Very Monkey Christmas, or even the Halloween one. A lot more random and sporadic. The dachen part at the end is really odd. Still good though! The songs are not as good as in other ones either. Great movie compared to others, okay movie compared to other George movies and episodes. It is not connected to any holidays, which is nice in some ways.

For the price I think it’s a great addition to my kids dvd collection. It’s a great storyline and keeps my 2.5 year old entertained. This will be added to the rest of our Curious George part of the collection.

i just love that my kids like curious George. it is such a sweet show and yet entertaining too. I love the characters and the stories are educational and well told.

my little boy is so pleased with his new George dvd he hasn't stopped watching it we watch it every day.the only issue i have is that i paid first class delivery for it to arrive the day it was released but didn't receive it till the day after.
