Chinese Architecture (Discovering China)

If you buy one book only about traditional Chinese architecture, I recommend this one. It is neither expensive nor excessively long, although the exceedingly length and complex history of the architecture of China could easily have made it so. In clear, understandable English Wang Qijun has written a concise overview of all genres of traditional architecture in China. Very helpful is historical overview and the excellent illustrations.

Was not anything like I expected. Small 6" x 8.5" 150 page book. Way over priced.

Great little book with interesting illustrations and a brief overview of Chinese Architecture. Definitely worth buying.
