Xtreme 12V MAX* Cordless Drill, 3/8-Inch, Tool Only (DCD701B)

Heavy duty and compact. I already have a 18v Milwaukee Tool hammer drill and was looking for a smaller 12v compact drill. My older Dewalt 12 drill died and needed replacement. This one is brushless and more compact.

I have two 12 volt DeWalt drills and love them. One is like a hammer drill and the other one a regular drill. The regular one started acting up so I wanted a replacement. I went to a big lumber supply store and I could not find a 12 volt that I wanted. So I purchased a 20 volt that looked about the same. With tax the bill came to about 180 dollars. I could not believe I paid that much but I had a better drill....so I thought. It was a very nice drill but way to heavy for the kind of around the house work that I occasionally do. It would be a great deal for a contractor who uses drills on a daily basis. Because it was heavy, I returned it for a full refund. I decided I wanted a 12 volt model as I already had two batteries. Then I found this gem as Amazon had a great price for 1/3 the price of the 20 volt drill. It works great and much lighter than the 20 volt model. What a great deal and definitely five stars.

Love these 12V deWalt tools. Already have the impact driver which is absolutely perfect for dismantling/assembling engines with alloy blocks/heads. Not enough torque to strip bolt holes but works quickly with great speed adjustment through trigger. Got this 12V drill and love it just as much. Perfect for around the house repairs and woodwork. Light so very comfortable to use, quiet, battery lasts a long time, easy to use with great speed adjustability via trigger.

I have the impact 12v and needed the drill to complete the set. they are both work horses, lightweight powerful long lasting batteries. just what I needed.

as advertised, on time, in good condition. seems to have more power than my old 12 volt dewalt drill.

Price is good. Power is good. Used in tight space to drive 5.2 x 1200mm screws into cypress. However I originally thought it would create less noise over my old 10.8v Dewalt drill. But it's louder at least to my ear, even with the less power setting. I bought it for tight space / power / silent. It achieved two so good enough. I was deciding between this and 18v. But choose this as the original 10.8v is almost enough for everything in my house. And I have a 10.8v impact for backup.

Great drill bit but be aware that it does not come with a battery.

Lite and full of umph. Lasts longer than my 18 volt drill. Love it.

Elle est plus courte que celle que j'ai du remplacer . Elle permet de travailler dans des endroits plus restraints . J'ai choisi d'acheter une perceuse a 12 Volts au lieu de 20 Volts , car je venais juste de remplacer mes batteries 12 volts , que j'aurais du jeter si j'avais choisi 20 Volts .

Me gustó mucho su tamaño, yo tengo el modelo de 20 volts y hay mucha diferencia de tamaño y en fuerza no se queda atrás
