Picture quality is pretty good but the battery life is really short which wouldn’t be an issue but it takes a long time to charge. If you only occasionally use this you can expect to have to charge it for an hour or so each time before you use it so plan ahead.

I guess I was expecting a stronger microscope. Barely see much more than you would with your own eyes. No blank slates to look at your own stuff, just two slates provided with a bee wing and a flick of onion. Cool to have a screen for sharing, but the magnification is weak.

Gave to my grandson age 11 for Christmas. He loved it and takes it everywhere. Has videos of crawling bugs to gross out his grandma. Works well with large screen tv for all to see.

My use is solely for being able to look at and grade coins better than I ever good in days gone by, Great!!

good beginner microscope for kids. My son interested in the micro world very much, since he watched movie Horton hears a who. And he used it whole day when it arrived.

Got this for a relative who is a avid coin collector. He is very pleased with it.
