Company UB-2W White Flower Umbrella Base

These umbrella stands disappeared from shelves around my area and I found them on Amazon at their maker, Semco Plastics, and ordered two and had them inside the week. I was pleased with the speed of delivery, even though it would be a couple of months before I needed them in the yard. The stands are like the one I've had for twelve years, so I anticipate similar life spans for the new ones. I fill them with sand.

This item is a total piece of junk and the Semco Plastic company are a bunch of B------ds.. No where in the amazon ad does it say that this portable umbrella stand REQUIRES a table to hold up the umbrella ... But, if you want to use it as a portable stand alone umbrella stand you will find that out written boldly on the bottom of the base once you get it in your hands... unless of course you are reading this now ... then you know. Once they have your money and you have also paid for shipping then when you want to return it because it is not a true umbrella stand and they failed to point that out ,... now you have to pay to mail it back to them .. so in my case I purchased two... so I paid 20 for shipping and let's say I pay 20 to ship it back and they return my 20 for the item... SO now I paid 40 dollars and have nothing... and they have the umbrella stands to sell again... I am out 40 .. and they come out smelling like a rose. And still not bothering to put in the ad that this item will not hold up an umbrella. And yes, I tried to use it as an umbrella stand and no breeze at all, perfectly still air, the base just flops and bends and the umbrella falls to the ground.

Works great for what I bought it for. My umbrella is safe now from flying away with the wind...

I would recommend to this item, inexpensive and serves the purpose well.

This product is a piece of junk and it even dented my umbrella when slight winds ripped it out of that cheap base. And they won't even send me a prepaid mailing label to send it back. They offered me 15% off the umbrella base. Seriously...why would I want to keep a piece of junk that doesn't work?
