Carolina Classic Sheridan Dining Table, English Pine

Okay, I admit it - I was EXTREMELY nervous about buying a piece of furniture online - books? Yes. Shoes? Sure, why not. But furniture is big and expensive...what happens if it shows up and I hate it? But after spending a year looking in various furniture stores and antique shops and not finding anything remotely close to what I was looking for, I tried Amazon.com and sure enough - they had this table (and it cost about a 1/3 of what I had budgeted). So after a glass of wine I hit "add to cart" and crossed my fingers. I figured if it was horrible I could always "donate" it to my little cousin's college apartment...college kids aren't picky, are they?Long story short, less than a week later, the table arrives via a dedicated furniture delivery crew. I was holding my breath as I unwrapped it but it was GORGEOUS! Solid wood as far as I can tell - no particle board or plywood for me! It's perfectly proportioned, a lovely honey color (with some deliberate distressing, so if that's not your thing, look elsewhere), comes with a satin smooth finish, and was able to be assembled in a matter of minutes with the tools provided. It matches the antique sideboard we already had and looks great with the gumwood built-ins. I think I spent a good ten minutes circling it once it was assembled, looking for any flaws - happy to report I came up with nothing. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this table and I am immediately ordering the matching chairs!

As we are moving to a smaller home, I had to sell my wonderful Pottery Barn dining table as it was too large for the new house. Pottery Barn discontinued the smaller one I was going to buy so I went looking for a close approximation. I found it in this Carolina Classic Sheridan Dining Table. It is very well made (in Malaysia!) and is all hardwood, not a speck of particle board or other manufactured wood. The finish color is a warm, soft brown and smooth as silk. The turned and fluted legs are in perfect proportion to the top. It seats six cozily but not cramped. I love this table and would highly recommend it.

I got this today and it looks great. I needed a simple kitchen table and this is just great. Looks very sturdy and well made. You can tell a solid wood piece when you see it. Easy to assemble. I had my new table and chairs in place in less than 30 minutes.

We were very pleased with our selection of this particular table. The table is a beautiful solid wood with very sturdy legs. Assembling it is an absolute breeze. We would recommend this product to anyone shopping on the Internet and uncertain as to product quality and beauty of appearance.

The pics of this table on line does NOT show these marks. But Unbeatablesales is saying it is part of the English Pine look. Very unsatisfied that they will not do anything about it.

Shipping was excellent. Packaging was over the top. Easy to assemble. Beautiful finish. We needed a smaller dining table and this one is perfect. I was afraid to purchase furniture online but Amazon SOLD me!

I ordered this table to use in my craft room. It is sturdy and much higher quality than I expected for the terrific price. The color is darker than a true light pine finish but is not a dark wood. Although the package was quite large and heavy when delivered and difficult for me to maneuver by myself, assembly was quick and easy. Highly recommended.
